The location is perfect: a 10-minute stroll to the downtown core and 20 minutes to the beach, ideal for exploring. The bed and pillows? Pure bliss – we slept like royalty. The breakfast, handmade by the host Maria Angelica, was a highlight, with fresh, custom dishes served at our preferred time. But Maria Angelica herself stole the show. Her warmth, patience, and kindness made us feel like family, not guests, from check-in to checkout. This is the only place I’ll stay in La Serena, and I’m already excited for my next visit!

Lovely interior, friendly staff, food good but a bit overpriced I thought. I ordered lomo pil pil as I thought it would be spicy, it wasn’t though so a bit disappointing, tasty enough all the same.
