This is my second time staying at the Wuxi Grand Hotel. It's an older hotel with older facilities, but the transportation is convenient and the price is affordable. Dining options are also good. Overall, I still think it's a good place to stay. I have a suggestion for the hotel, especially now that more elderly travelers are staying in hotels. For their safety, I recommend adding rooms with walk-in showers. Currently, showering in a bathtub with an overhead shower is not safe for seniors; it's difficult for them to step in and out, the tub and floor can be slippery, and there are no grab bars. This really needs improvement. Once that's addressed, I'll definitely come back to the Wuxi Grand Hotel.

The room was clean and spacious, and it was relatively quiet. The staff were very welcoming and promptly addressed a quality issue we raised, which was very satisfactory. The only downside was that breakfast was a bit expensive and the food wasn't replenished quickly enough, with many empty dishes, which wasn't a great experience.

My kids are grown up now, so I specifically booked a family room for this trip. The hotel started off great, but then I noticed the attention to detail was lacking! First, the single bed in the room was a spring bed, and the mattress was clearly old and deeply sunken in the middle, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. My child didn't complain, but as a parent, I felt quite uneasy. Since it's a family room, why wouldn't they provide a standard single bed? Secondly, the restaurant service. The coffee machine needed cleaning, and I even told a staff member, but by the time we finished our meal, the coffee still hadn't been served. Breakfast in the restaurant goes until 10 AM, but when we went at 9:30 AM, some dishes and drinks were no longer being refilled. I don't think this is right. They don't offer a discount for eating after 9:30 AM, so shouldn't all food items be fully stocked?

Came to Wuxi for Chinese New Year with my parents and booked a family room at Wuxi Grand Hotel last minute on Ctrip. Although the hotel and rooms are quite old, an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari – you can tell how luxurious this hotel must have been back in the day. Breakfast needs to be purchased separately, but it tastes good.

This hotel is an older, well-established star-rated property. While the facilities aren't the newest, the service attitude is excellent, offering good value for money. It's not too far from various attractions in Wuxi, and with Dawangji subway station nearby, transportation is quite convenient.

The old hotel is a bit dated, but it still has its charm. Overall, the cleanliness was acceptable, though a bit rough around the edges – I'm not sure how old the ice in the fridge was. The TV in the living room only had a few channels, and there was only one bathrobe in the room. I had to contact the front desk to get shower gel and shampoo delivered to the bathroom. On the upside, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was quite good.

Stayed in Wuxi for three days and wanted to experience a historic hotel. The lobby was very distinctive, and the room was spacious. The construction site next door was closed for the New Year's Day holiday, and the hotel even thoughtfully warned about potential noise from it. The mattress was super comfortable; I fell asleep as soon as I lay down, probably also because I was so tired from all the activities. The only downside was that food deliveries weren't brought up by a robot, so I had to go down to pick them up every time. There's a great soup dumpling place nearby, and the roasted chestnuts from the shop right outside are delicious too.
