Great hotel. Will 100% return to stay here again If I’m back. Design of the hotel is great. I like the fact that I can go to panman just beside. Also went for breakfast and there’s fantastic choices

I found the environment to be comfortable in all aspects, but the service really fell short. A big plus for the concierge who opened the car door and helped with luggage upon arrival, but that act of service unfortunately set a high expectation. Upon reaching the front desk for check-in, the unprofessionalism and impatience of the staff were very apparent. Additionally, the hotel is huge, and it takes a long time to walk to the room. If you're staying for multiple nights, the cleaning staff comes knocking very early to tidy up; one weekend morning, I was knocked on 3 times… It felt like they were in a rush to finish cleaning.

This is a large hotel, designed in the classic Suzhou-style architecture, with beautiful garden landscapes. The back entrance offers direct access to the Pan Gate Scenic Area. The hotel spans approximately 32,000 square meters and features 336 guest rooms. It boasts four dining options: Cuiyingyuan All-Day Dining, Haitainlou Chinese Restaurant, Ruimian Noodle House, and Taying Cafe. There are roughly 250-300 parking spaces available, along with leisure facilities such as indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, tennis courts, an indoor golf simulator, and a kids' club.

This hotel is definitely worth experiencing. It's located near Panmen Gate, and with your room card, you get free access to the Panmen Scenic Area, which basically becomes your backyard. This was especially wonderful during the May Day holiday when there were evening activities in the scenic area, making it incredibly beautiful. It was super convenient for visiting with elderly family members and children. The hotel itself is also very nicely designed, with an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a gym. You can even get fish food from the front desk to feed the fish. The lobby is on the 3rd floor, so arriving by taxi offers a unique experience. The breakfast was good, quite Western-style, with freshly made omelets and pancakes that were delicious. If you don't feel like going out in the evening, the Haitan Chinese Restaurant on the 1st floor is also a good option.

This was by far the best hotel experience during my trip to Suzhou, highly recommended! It offers excellent value for money, seamlessly blending traditional Suzhou architecture and landscapes – every corner is a picturesque view. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly helpful and even upgraded my room to a suite for free. The room's facilities and decor were impeccable, and even the corridor leading to the room offered beautiful scenery. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was remarkable, and the room's cleanliness was top-notch. I even tried some local noodles at Rui Mian, which were quite tasty. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Suzhou.

My stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou was absolutely fantastic! The hotel beautifully recreates the aesthetics of the ancient Wu Kingdom from the Spring and Autumn period, with its pavilions, terraces, and waterside promenades showcasing classic Suzhou elegance. Every step offers a picturesque view. As a project under Singapore’s GIC and Temasek, its unique foresight in choosing a prime location in the heart of the ancient city back in 1995 is remarkable. It also boasts a rich history, having hosted numerous dignitaries. Guests can enjoy free access to Panmen Gate by using their room key, and it's incredibly convenient to visit core attractions like Canglang Pavilion, Lingering Garden, Suzhou Museum, and Xiyuan Temple. Plus, the hotel's own restaurants, like Ruigarden Noodle House, are definitely worth trying – it truly enhances the overall experience!

Truly, we have so many sweet and unforgetable memories during our stay in Pan Pacific Hotel Suchou. We booked "Family Two Bedrooms" for 4 of us & this room was the best family room we ever had. This room has 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 clean bathrooms and a mini kitchen with refridgerator, microwave and sink that made our in-room experience was very comfortable. The housekeeping was also very kind plus their excellent services to mention. We remember this Ms. Xia Ning, a room attendant, who left a beautiful postcard in our room with her heartful and warm greetings with her own handwritings to make sure we had comfortable stay and satisfied. We are surely touched by her beyond service.
The hotel's breakfast was one of the best with so various dishes and all were delicious. Some food were resembling the famous and delicate Chinese cuisines.
We fully enjoyed Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel's Panmen Scenic Area. The scenes of their large beautiful garden at noon and at night was unforgetable. We had a chance to try Chinese traditional clothings from Wu Palace Hanfu Experience Center (with Ms. Yichen's generous assistance) and also one-hour cheongsam experience (for women) that helped us to take many beautiful memorable photos. Other hotel's enjoyable benefits include Suzhou Memories-Wu Palace Historical, Collection of Passport Documents for Wu Palace, Tai Chi Experience, CNY 100 SPA voucher at Jialiya Spa & Free self-service laundry and drying. It surely gave us worth time to spent in the hotel. Our sweet 5-star experience with Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel this time surely will make us to come back to this great hotel in our next visit to Suzhou.

As one of Suzhou's renowned hotels and an attraction in itself, the Pan Pacific Hotel has clearly put a lot of thought into its environment. It has created a beautiful Suzhou garden-style landscape based on the outlines of ancient Wu Kingdom architecture, making us feel like history isn't just a display, but that we're living inside a freshly painted ink wash painting.

Wooden planks form bridges in the corridors, bamboo paintings adorn the walls, and when the wind blows, it's as if you can hear the clear ringing of ancient Wu eave bells – not noisy, yet full of sound.

The in-house restaurant offers yellow croaker noodles, which are a bit pricey, but the fish is fresh and delicious, and worth trying with the small noodles and side dishes.

The only downsides: when I called, there was a wait without an answer, and the staff training regarding the management of guests' personal belongings in the rooms needs improvement.

I highly recommend visiting the hotel's architecture; it offers a concrete experience of Suzhou's ancient江南 (Jiangnan) charm.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, probably the best value for money in the world! I usually don't like taking photos, but I couldn't stop snapping pictures at Wu Palace – every shot was perfect. I can't stop thinking about it; it's a must-stay in Suzhou, truly fantastic!
