Travelodge Kowloon in Hong Kong

My go-to hotel when in HK. Large room (By HK standards for the price), and convenient for transport, as well as unlimited 24 hour food options. Note: they require a HK$500 bond when checking in, and have found it much more convenient to have it in cash and is returned on check out rather then the complication of using credit card and then credit back on the credit card. It is also one of the few hotels I have found in HK within the price range which doesnt have the infamous "HK musty damp smell" As always, it remains my go-to hotel.

A great hotel that's located in a central location on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. Very short distance to public transport. Rooms were relatively spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

Hotel is located on the heart of Kowloon Peninsula. Plenty of restaurants, shopping centres, theaters, and sight seeings as well as many green parks. Hotel staff are friendly and professional. Rooms are adequate for 2 people. I will definitely book it again for my next trip.

Excellent location and great value are the standout features of Travelodge Kowloon, placing you just steps away from the Jordan MTR station and a plethora of dining options. While the rooms are noted for being a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh, the friendly staff and affordable price point make it a practical choice for budget-conscious travelers

Location is great, just few minutes walk from Jordan station. Room is big compared to others in HK.

In short, average hotel at a brilliant location.
It’s overall clean, however there are some defect on the wall as shown below. Also, when we first enter the room, there was some bad smells, which goes away after turning on the AC for a while.
In terms of toiletries, only towels were provided. Need to pay $20hkd for brush, comb etc.
The air conditioning only turns on when set to “high”, it simply turns off when set to anything below it.
Hot water is sufficient.
Overall it’s up to standard for a 3-star hotel, didn’t under-perform nor over-perform.
My recommendation for this hotel is for ppl who prioritise location over hotel quality. Hotels at such region with a better quality usually cost u like $1000 hkd or more. So to average around $500 hkd only for this hotel, it’s a good choice.
However if u could sacrifice location for a bit, there are plenty of better hotels (4-stars hotels) in other district (Kwun Tong/Fortress Hill) at similar price point and I would strongly recommend u to choose those hotels instead

Good Locaed, near by convenience store, restaurant, subway and MTR. And bus stop A21/A22 to airport.

All ok!!!! Bedroom were clean with AC! A lot of restaurants around!

My only issue here would be that the cleanliness can be improved in terms of the shower curtain. It has that damp smell that seems not to dry properly.

Location is great! Room is clean! Just the shower curtains can be cleaned better
