Bridal Tea House Hung Hom Gillies Avenue South Hotel in Hong Kong

Very simple, clean and extremely cheap hotel and more of a place to crash than a place to spend time. The room is tiny, but well laid out so it doesn't feel as tiny as it is. The walls are paper thin. Think of this as a fairly safe hostel with individual rooms and you are unlikely to be disappointed.

The website is hard to navigate if you can't read Chinese and clearly it is mainly frequented by the type of Chinese business traveller without large expense accounts.

Economical, clean, comfortable and friendly service. The rooms are very small, but I loved the experience.

Good price (HKD300 average per night for a two person room), free basic breakfast included (a drink + a pastry per person), basic amenities and average bed. Little to no service but hey can’t beat the price!

Yes - the room is small, but rent prices are expensive in HK, as in every bag major city. If one wants a bigger private area, must be prepared to pay more. I have no complaints about the service I received.

Stayed there for several days with my fiancee. We had overall a very good experience. The place is practical, clean, well-furnished, and modern. The rooms are quite tiny but smartly organized. The only issue we had was with power to charge mobile phones as some sockets were not working correctly. I recommend.
