I really love the hotel.: location. The room facilities are decent as well

I stayed for three nights in Lhasa and chose this InterContinental hotel. The hotel is quite old, so it's understandable that the facilities are a bit dated, especially since the price wasn't high. However, the room cleaning on the last two days was terrible. The duvet was just haphazardly folded, and a pillow was even left on the floor. The bath towels looked like they hadn't been replaced, just refolded after use, and they even stopped providing the foot mat for the shower. The cleaning staff really needs more systematic training; don't ruin InterContinental's reputation.

Also, the front desk staff was eating while checking in guests. Do they eat directly at the front desk area? That's just too unprofessional.

Before booking, I read a lot of reviews and was torn between booking and not booking. After all, it was the off-season, and other highly-rated hotels were even cheaper. But in the end, I decided to trust the Holiday Inn Express standard and booked it. Overall, it was decent. The front desk, the room, and the oxygen concentrator provided all met basic acceptable standards. However, the extra complimentary items like welcome drinks and travel photography were nowhere to be seen. Also, room cleaning required guests to actively contact the front desk, which was a first for me. I mean, coming back to the hotel after 2 PM and finding the room exactly as I'd left it in the morning was surprising. And don't even get me started on the hotel breakfast. I have to wonder, is there even less food during the off-season? The hotel's location is good; it's a 20-minute walk to Norbulingka. But avoid the ******* noodle restaurant at the alley entrance; it's neither good nor cheap.

The service here is incredibly comprehensive. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to the action, and the facilities are excellent. They even provide an oxygen concentrator in the room, which is a thoughtful touch, and the room views are absolutely fantastic. My only minor suggestion would be to have a more varied breakfast selection. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and look forward to staying here again next time I'm in Lhasa.

The accommodation environment is decent and affordable. It's also quite clean. It's quiet at night. There's an oxygen concentrator, which is essential when you first arrive in Lhasa to slowly adapt to the high-altitude environment; don't rush it.

The room was decent, offering good value for money. The staff had a pleasant attitude, and breakfast was sufficient, with delicious toast. However, there was only jam, no butter. The location isn't particularly close to the Potala Palace.

The room was comfortable and a good size, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping it nice and warm. That's really important because Lhasa gets very cold at night. Breakfast was simple but filling. The only downside is that it's located in an alley.

Although there's a small inner street to navigate, the complex itself is quiet, and parking is especially convenient. The room was spacious and bright, and the amenities were clean. This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel's location is fantastic, not too far from the Potala Palace, and the area is quiet, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. What really impressed me was the service. The front desk attendant was all smiles throughout, not only processing our check-in quickly but also recommending local specialty restaurants. Every detail showed thoughtfulness. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
