Good, but not a five star hotel
Huge hotel structure with several restaurant inside, great breakfast! Position not in city center but a few minutes taxi makes the trick. Worth it!
Lucy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The stay is great, the hotel staff took care of me on my last day when i fell really sick. Really appreciate the concierge staff!
Big thanks to the Lhasa Intercontinental Hotel for giving us such an amazing travel experience. Standard service, beautiful environment, rich breakfast, complete facilities,
The room is clean and well-equipped. The breakfast is very good, with ******* food and regular buffet. I like the homemade mugs of the hotel. The staff is warm and thoughtful, especially the receptionist Puchi, who has thoughtful service. I give it a thumbs up.
St. Regis is cost-effective compared to international 5-star standards. Newly renovated Hotel where national leaders stay Good breakfast There is an oxygen concentrator in the room to help guests adapt to the high altitude. Non-smoking rooms are really non-smoking
The location is within 1km from the museum, library, Yaowang Park, and Norbulingka. The front desk lady is friendly and the breakfast is great in Lhasa. It is a bit far to walk to the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple. It is a good choice for a quiet place.
Service: The overall check-in experience is quite good. Every waiter is very polite. They will greet each other when they meet. They will help to pull the suitcase when you check in. Sometimes they will also help to deliver takeout. Facilities: All are brands. But because the hotel has been open for a long time, many places in the room have aged, especially the sockets are out of power... Some dead...
I stayed in the cheapest and most common room type. The disadvantage is that although you can see the garden on the first floor, it is not worth seeing. The hotel is relatively large. If the room is arranged closer to the inside, it may take five or six minutes to enter and exit the hotel door. . Anyway, except that there is no bathtub and the bathroom is smaller, other facilities, environment and...

Shangri-La Lhasa, Lhasa1 / 25
9.1
Lhasa, 19 Norbulingka Road (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This is my second time staying at the Shangri-La in Lhasa. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. They even gave us complimentary water and dessert. I'll definitely be back!
The "Ping" An Xile welcome gift included fruit. The hotel has an infirmary, which is reassuring for those who come to the plateau on short notice (in case of sudden altitude sickness). The cost of 780 [yuan] is a bit high, but medical staff are available 24 hours a day. The front desk service was good, and the room service was excellent. However, there was a smell of yak butter in the room, which might...
Stayed at Shangri-La Tibet for 3 nights. Michael and Pema handled our check-in, they were very warm and attentive, and even managed to get us a room with a view of the Potala Palace. The room had humidifiers and an oxygen bar, which made us feel at ease as first-time visitors to Tibet.
The room was warm and equipped with an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, which was perfect for tourists who had just arrived in Lhasa. We could see the Potala Palace directly from the hotel. The homemade yogurt and sweet tea at breakfast were delicious.
The location is excellent, right opposite the Tibet Museum, just a 5-minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is very convenient; during the off-season, you can park directly in front of the lobby without even going down to the underground garage. The front desk staff was very professional in helping us check in and thoughtfully reminded us to rest on our first day at high altitude. The room has a...
The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was reliably comfortable. It was equipped with an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, which really helped alleviate altitude sickness. The view opposite was great, directly overlooking the mountains. The service was also excellent; both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly, and the robot delivery for meals was super fast. The breakfast...

The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, Lhasa1 / 30
9.2
Lhasa, No. 22 Jiangsu Road (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
My long-awaited trip to Tibet finally began, and I decisively chose The St. Regis Lhasa. The room was spacious, amenities were complete, and the location was convenient, close to all the main attractions. They even have a medical room, and their homemade altitude sickness medicine is quite effective, supposedly with no side effects. Thanks to this medicine, I was able to continue my journey to Ngari...
I had high expectations for the St. Regis, but honestly, I was very disappointed. First off, when I went to wipe down the bathroom counter myself, I found a fake eyelash! I called for service, and it took over ten minutes for someone to arrive. Their solution? A set of skincare products! Thanks a lot for that! After some negotiation, we were moved to a different room, but the upgraded room was in Building...
This is my second stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort after two years, and it truly lives up to its five-star reputation. The one-on-one service is exceptional, and they proactively helped with my luggage. From the hotel's cafe, you get a panoramic view of the Potala Palace. I especially want to mention that the breakfast spread is incredibly rich and refined. Haha, honestly, besides the high price...
This is my second stay at The St. Regis, and the overall quality is, as expected, top-notch – probably the best in the area. The breakfast, in particular, is outstanding; there's a huge selection, and the service is quite warm and welcoming. The only downside is that it gets very crowded during holidays. The experience would probably be even better on a regular weekday. Both times, Tina assisted me...
Our butler, Justin, provided exceptional and thoughtful service, always ready to assist with any request. My first stay at The St. Regis Lhasa was a decade ago, and even though the facilities are a bit older now, it remains my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Lhasa. The front desk staff were also very considerate, arranging rooms in the main building for me and my friend.
Extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, a semi-buffet. Ruth's service was exceptional – she even helped us pack our abalone porridge and sweet tea when we were in a rush. For lunch, we chose the Chinese restaurant's outdoor seating. The service was great, and the food was delicious too.

Holiday Inn Express Lhasa Potala Palace by IHG, Lhasa1 / 28

I really love the hotel.: location. The room facilities are decent as well
I stayed for three nights in Lhasa and chose this InterContinental hotel. The hotel is quite old, so it's understandable that the facilities are a bit dated, especially since the price wasn't high. However, the room cleaning on the last two days was terrible. The duvet was just haphazardly folded, and a pillow was even left on the floor. The bath towels looked like they hadn't been replaced, just refolded...
Before booking, I read a lot of reviews and was torn between booking and not booking. After all, it was the off-season, and other highly-rated hotels were even cheaper. But in the end, I decided to trust the Holiday Inn Express standard and booked it. Overall, it was decent. The front desk, the room, and the oxygen concentrator provided all met basic acceptable standards. However, the extra complimentary...
The service here is incredibly comprehensive. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to the action, and the facilities are excellent. They even provide an oxygen concentrator in the room, which is a thoughtful touch, and the room views are absolutely fantastic. My only minor suggestion would be to have a more varied breakfast selection. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends...
The accommodation environment is decent and affordable. It's also quite clean. It's quiet at night. There's an oxygen concentrator, which is essential when you first arrive in Lhasa to slowly adapt to the high-altitude environment; don't rush it.
The room was decent, offering good value for money. The staff had a pleasant attitude, and breakfast was sufficient, with delicious toast. However, there was only jam, no butter. The location isn't particularly close to the Potala Palace.

The rental facilities are old and damaged, and the shower head in the bathroom is broken.
The front desk service is very friendly, the garden is large, the facilities are complete, and the breakfast is rich. I give Xiaoqiang high praise.
The hotel has a comfortable environment and well-equipped facilities. The room is very clean. I really like the desk, which is very ethnic. The green environment in the yard is beautiful, you can go for a walk in the evening, free parking is provided, and the transportation is very convenient. The front desk service is very good and very welcoming. The garden is large and the parking is free. It is very close to the train station and the transportation is convenient. I have stayed here many times and will come again next time. I also called the front desk to deliver a bucket of water, which was delivered to me immediately. The environment is beautiful, the garden is large, parking is free, and Xiaoqiang's service at the front desk is very enthusiastic. I will stay here again next time I come to Lhasa. The room is relatively large, and the blue sky and white clouds outside are particularly beautiful. The floor staff are enthusiastic. Everyone who meets me feels friendly and no stranger. I feel that the room facilities...

Lhasa, No. 3 Wenduixingka Road, Tiebenggang (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The staff was immensely helpful in helping me connect with my guides who could not drive our tour van directly to the hotel because of the narrow and pedestrian-filled streets
This is a great guesthouse. The rooms are clean and simple, the owner is warm and chatty, the decor has a ******* style, the price is affordable, and the location is excellent. You're right by Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, with plenty of dining and shopping options. The only minor inconvenience is that cars can't pull up directly to the guesthouse entrance.
The soundproofing in the room was quite good, meeting the requirement for quietness. The facilities were a bit basic, and it felt a bit lacking compared to a proper hotel. The dog was very cute and friendly, though a bit overweight and probably needs to lose some pounds.
We love it!! Friendly staff, good overall service, but the beeest thing about it is the location. You sholud stay here to have the best lhasa experience
The location is fantastic; Barkhor Street is right outside the door. The courtyard is especially beautiful at night. If you're looking for a guesthouse experience, this is definitely worth trying – it offers incredible value for money.
Very close to Daxi Temple, about an 8-minute walk away. It has a ******* style. When I checked in, they were busy helping me with my luggage, and the service attitude was good. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old. In the morning, the toilet was a bit clogged when I used it, and even after trying to fix it, it didn't improve. Facilities: A bit old

Super friendly and helpful host and the entire hotel staff. Flexible check in, great location. Highly recommended.
Grear place, beautiful fourniture and very quiet and calm. Two walk distance from the tourisic street and few good restaurants not far. Internet worked pretty weñl even on the 4th floor. There was a TV but i didnt turn on so i dont know what they offer. Reception was amazing! Clean and bathroom ok.
The room is clean and sanitary, with plenty of hot water and comfortable bathing. The hotel provides free oxygen and considerate service. I had altitude sickness when I first arrived in Lhasa. The proprietress was enthusiastic and the boss helped me carry my luggage upstairs. You can also store your luggage. I took two short trips during my stay and left my luggage at the hotel.
Very cozy ******* hotel, very close to Jokhang Temple, and surrounded by many snack bars. The room is clean and the hot water is big enough.
The room decoration is very unique, and many travel photographers come to their doorstep to take photos. There are many delicious foods nearby and convenient transportation.
The location is excellent, right in Barkhor Street. The building is old but the facilities are OK. The furnishings in the room are very unique. There is no free oxygen supply but there is a machine for scanning the code. The boss is very enthusiastic.

Lhasa, No. 16 Taibeng Gang Wengdui Xingka Sangdong Yuan, Chengguan Qu, Lasa Shi, XZ, China, 850000 (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is located inside Bhakor Street area, the hotel design is ******* style. Very beautiful, with rooftop access to view the city and Potala Palace. It's walking distance to Jokhang Temple.
Recommended by Lonely Planet, in Barkhor Street, cars cannot enter, so you need to walk for 10 minutes with your luggage. But you can have an in-depth experience of Lhasa city life. The room is quite comfortable, and the building has ******* characteristics. It is especially suitable for backpackers and has high cost performance. There is no breakfast, but there are many century-old ******* food restaurants...
I am very satisfied with the hotel I chose. I like to experience such a pure Tibetan-style room. There is a spare quilt in the room, which can cover two beds. It is not heavy. I like the circle of seats next to the bed when I enter. It is very comfortable to sit. The ones on the table There is water in the copper vessel, and the whole energy field feels very comfortable. The only thing that bothers...
You can see the Potala Palace from the roof. It is a very traditional ******* residence with unique features. It feels very warm, the facilities are good, and the location is also very good. My child likes it very much. The service is also great. I will probably choose to stay here again when I have the opportunity to visit in the future.
The room is very unique, it is ******* style, and many foreigners live there. Because the room has wooden floors, I was woken up by the people upstairs coming back at one or two in the morning, and then I was woken up by the sound of people getting up at six or seven in the morning.
Service: The service attitude is good. They helped me to pull my luggage up and down because there is no elevator. Environment: Typical ******* residence, very distinctive, inevitably has some disadvantages of ******* residence, but Qijiaji still tried its best to make some improvements. Sanitation: Good sanitation. It is worth booking such a room for 225 in peak season. Facilities: The hot water...

The B&B is clean and comfortable, the rooftop has a beautiful view, and the location is convenient and quiet. The owner, Fang Jie, was very helpful, allowing our family to have a very wonderful journey and experience. Highly recommended B&B!!!
We enjoyed our stay, great location, walking distance to a lot of great restaurant, walking distance to Jokhang temple, barkhor street. This place is clean, room is great as smoking is not allowed in the room!
I have been to Lhasa four times and I always stay at this B&B. The owner and the front desk lady are very nice. The location is in the alley opposite the Danjielin Pedestrian Street. It is very convenient. The room is simple and clean. I highly recommend it.
The location is good and the boss is enthusiastic. He helped us find a parking lot, carry our luggage, and plan our travel route. It is very close to Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple, and Potala Palace. Very cozy B&B.
A very comfortable hotel, a very beautiful hotel. I always gain a lot from chatting with Sister Fang. Fatty’s cooking skills are very nice! This is a place where I will definitely stay again! ! !
The price/performance ratio is very high, the hotel is in a good location, and the front desk service is enthusiastic and always cares about my physical condition. The overall stay experience is good.
