We had a wonderful stay.
It was great to be able to stay in such a historic building.
The room, bed, towels, sheets, shower room, and toilet were all very clean, which gave us peace of mind.
For breakfast, you can choose between Western or Chinese.
My husband had Chinese breakfast, and I had Western breakfast, which was both filling and delicious. I'm also grateful for the courteous service provided by the staff. This is a hotel I'd like to stay at again.

They came out to greet me immediately and helped me carry my bag. They were very enthusiastic. The hotel gave people a big contrast. The exterior wall looked very shabby, but it was another scene when I entered the yard. It had a Chinese retro flavor. The hotel was very quiet and the decoration design was the simple style I liked. The staff was very friendly, the service was great, and the breakfast was rich enough. I recommend friends who like old yards to experience it!

I came here for the ancient courtyard, but the internal facilities and hygiene really need to be improved.
The wall is cracked, the curtains at the head of the bed are yellow, and the floor is creaky.
If you don't mind the mold, dampness and hygiene, you can stay here.
If you just want to experience the ancient courtyard, there are many options.

The hotel is located on the edge of the ancient town. The waiter came out to pick us up, helped with the luggage, greeted us, was very polite, and took us to visit and explain the hotel. It is a very distinctive house, but it takes about fifteen minutes to walk to the town center for dinner and shopping, which is a bit inconvenient. The advantage is that it is very quiet, depending on personal preference. Because it is an ancient house, the floor creaks when walking, and the air conditioner is very noisy at night. The room is equipped with earplugs, but I still didn't sleep well. It is not recommended for those who don't sleep well. The hygiene is not bad, cleaner than the general accommodation in the ancient town, and the toiletries are from L'Occitane. Breakfast is a set meal, you can choose Chinese or Western food. Chinese food only has a mouthful of rice noodles and a small piece of cake, which is not enough to eat. Western food is better with two slices of bread and two fried eggs. I want to ask for another one, but the waiter said that we have brought children and it has been given as a gift and can't be added. Well, those who have requirements for breakfast should be careful. In general, those who want to experience the ancient house and are interested in the culture of the ancient house can try it. It is not recommended for those with children, especially children, and the dim lights at night are a bit scary.

The hotel Is within a very beautiful old house with a lot of charm and a great location near the old town. Best of all are the super helpful staff who made our stay delightful and it was never too much trouble to give us advice on travel plans.
