Qing Pu Villa in Dali

On Jinshuo Island, the only inhabited island in Erhai Lake, watching the sunrise and sunset, falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea is already incredibly pleasant. But Qingpu offered me more than just accommodation; it provided a feeling of being at home, pampered in every way, and seamlessly integrated into the hotel environment.

Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, with the food retaining its original flavor; there were also fruits and yogurt as side dishes, which were very comforting for the stomach.

The bedding was incredibly comfortable; I fell asleep instantly every night. The lighting was soft and not glaring, perfect for rest. The linens in the washroom were also excellent; the toiletries were from a niche brand and smelled wonderful.

The room's decor was meticulous, including the screen in the sleeping area, the fireplace in the living room, and the antique-style wardrobe in the walk-in closet.

You think checking into the room is enough? The public areas have even more highlights, worthy of pride. The entire hotel requires changing shoes at the entrance, and I wore a pair of beautiful cloth shoes while exploring the public areas. The dry landscape garden in the courtyard was exquisitely designed; it brought me peace of mind, and meditating beside it was truly blissful. The owner said the dry landscape garden changes weekly, but unfortunately my stay was too short. Every plant was meticulously pruned and cared for, exquisite yet vibrant. The books in the study were of high quality, perfect for reading and writing. The relaxation area was equipped with tea sets, so you could sit down and enjoy tea and conversation at any time.

The entire hotel is a work of art. A five-star rating is insufficient to describe its excellence.

This is a hotel that matches my spiritual world very well. The general meaning is that every time I travel, I will choose a relatively expensive hotel, but I always feel that there is no family affection, and his kindness to me is what I deserve for my money. But Qingpu did not give me such a feeling. I can feel that the boss is a kind, simple and direct person from everyone's service and the boss's attitude and layout. The service attitude of the employees made me more determined, because they have a strong sense of belonging and really love this place!
I stayed here for 3 days and gained two pounds. Haha. Every day when I don't go out, fruits and desserts are delivered to the room. As soon as I go out, I will chase after them and ask if I am hungry. Bring some food with you😅. In the evening, I watched a movie in their audio-visual room, and the melon seeds, peanuts and sweet water were brought again. I told them that I couldn't eat it anymore and didn't want it, but they still persuaded me to eat another bowl. Hahahaha

The whole design must have taken a lot of effort. Every light and shadow, every decoration is carefully designed, and every frame is a painting. Everyone here is very enthusiastic, and the service can be said to be meticulous. Breakfast, dinner, and sweet soup are all delicious! Not to mention the scenery here, it is very photogenic, and you can live here for a whole summer.

The hotel is located on Jinsuo Island, which is not fully developed and relatively primitive. It is a good choice for those who want to enjoy a leisure vacation away from the hustle and bustle. When you come to the hotel, you will be deeply attracted by the unique design. You can feel the care of the owner in every little detail. The whole hotel combines Japanese courtyard style and ******* design just right. You don’t want to go out when you stay in the hotel. You can drink tea and read books on the first floor in the afternoon. The afternoon tea of ​​Sister Tiechui is delicious. Enjoy the quiet and leisure. Order a Kaige dinner without a menu in the evening, which can perfectly hit the taste buds. After dinner, sit on the stone pier at the door of the hotel and watch the sunset. It really feels that the years are quiet. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, which can feed you full. You can also find a lot of good things in the hotel. Come in at will. The experience of three days and two nights is far from enough. Looking forward to staying next time

Qingpu did not disappoint me! The thoughtful butler service was touching.

From being remarkable in terms of scenery and surroundings, to the warm and kind treatment of the staff, Qingpu can nail it all in the target.
Upon stepping foot into the hotel, one is surrounded by calm bamboo rushing towards the sky, and slabs of stone welcoming one in to the hotel. You can pass the tea room, decorated according to those of ancient china, and pass the clearing where stones are laid, markings drawn within them, and enter the hotel. The aesthetic of the whole building itself has quite the unique design, using the style of traditional Japanese gardens and buildings while still being conveniently modern, and experience the feeling of walking in the shoes of ones who lived in the ancient times in the cloth shoes the hotel offers.
The hotel room is cozy and comfortable, though one should be careful of the glass, and gives out the warm, welcoming vibe of home. With a fireplace and mantle, the style and the feel of the room merges perfectly, whilst retaining the feel and style of China, still being modern and clean.
The food is delicious and clearly freshly cooked; even the desserts are clearly handmade, and worth a try. The strawberry pudding is bouncy and sweet, yet not too much sugar is used in the dessert; a perfect food to cool you down in summer, paired with handmade strawberry jam. The glutinous rice cake served just before the new year chewy and warm, the best snack to be served in cold winters. The fish is also freshly butchered and cooked, and gives out the waft and smell of a true delicacy.
Lastly, the attitude of the staff and workers are warm and kind, and they welcome you in like family members. The staff never fail to make people laugh and smile, and are compassionate without end. The food and ordered objects always come on time, and the staff are always happy to do extra for you as well.
In conclusion, Qingpu really is an incredible place, and receives my full recommendation. I hope you all pay a visit!

Every staff member in the hotel is very gentle and attentive. Feeding from morning to night is very satisfying. Afternoon tea is also in line with Chinese tastes, simple and low in sugar.

Jinsuo Island, a small island that is not very popular in Dali, if you come here, it is best to choose to stay in Qingpu for 2 nights, wander around the island for one day, and lie down in the hotel for one day.

Even the island is not as attractive as it is advertised. The hotel is definitely a jewel ! It is an oasis.
