Oasis The Secret Luxury Hotel in Dali

We booked another king-size room, and while it was a bit smaller than other rooms, it didn't feel cramped at all. The layout was well-designed, and two people could stay comfortably. The bedding was clean and cozy, making it hard to get out of bed, and the pillows were just the right softness, with a very skin-friendly duvet. Even though it was a twin room, the natural dark wood style and overall ambiance weren't compromised, and the attention to detail was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Oasis Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and incredibly cozy. One of the standout features for us was the heated floor — such a comforting touch, especially after being out in the cold. The mountain views were absolutely stunning and made our stay even more special.
The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Ancient City, which made exploring very convenient. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. They were polite, attentive, and always ready to help — assisting with our luggage, offering us hot tea after a chilly evening out, and arranging taxi services whenever we needed them.
We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay and would highly recommend Oasis Hotel to anyone visiting the area.

After exploring much of Yunnan, arriving at this B&B in Dali felt like discovering the most meticulously designed place of my entire trip. I had initially shortlisted a few B&Bs online, but ultimately chose to stay within the ancient city rather than by the sea, primarily drawn by its charming courtyard and duplex rooms. To my delight, it exceeded my expectations. The courtyard, though compact, was incredibly serene, and the decor was very tasteful. All the amenities provided were of premium quality. We booked two rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs room even featured a specially installed electric blind for stargazing. It was evident that the entire B&B had been thoughtfully designed with attention to every detail. The selection of food and beverages provided was also excellent, and they even delivered sweet soup to our rooms in the evening. The breakfast spread was very generous, offering both Chinese and Western options – a definite highlight. However, the taste of the morning rice noodles and Ersi could be improved.

As a complimentary perk, the afternoon tea for two, desserts, and even breakfast for two could all be delivered to our room. The service was truly exceptional. Amidst the gentle drizzle and embracing lush greenery, time felt like it had slowed to a tranquil pace. Opening the window, we could even watch koi leisurely swimming in the pond.

The hotel's decor is elegant and refined, providing a tranquil haven amidst the bustling ancient city. It's conveniently located, just a 3-minute walk from the West Gate. From there, you can easily reach the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple by taking bus route 4 for just four stops. The hotel staff offered warm and attentive service, even assisting with our luggage. Breakfast was plentiful, and the overall environment was spotlessly clean.

Wow, this is the only hotel I've ever stayed at that truly delivered exceptional value for money. It was absolutely fantastic, with incredible attention to detail, and I absolutely adored the room type! The front desk staff provided impeccable service; they even had the air conditioning turned on in our room before we arrived, which was incredibly thoughtful, especially given how hot summer can get. The afternoon tea was also incredibly generous and clearly prepared with great care. And the turndown service was excellent. Honestly, everything was just superb, beyond words. It was better than many hotels that cost thousands more!

Excellent location, with the ancient city just steps away. The service was exceptional, including breakfast, a thoughtful goodnight milk, and afternoon tea. They even offered a small parting gift upon departure. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off were also provided. Truly 5-star service. Highly recommended!
