Located in the heart of the ancient city, it offers a quiet retreat amidst the bustling commercial street outside. Inside, however, it's remarkably peaceful and undisturbed. Restaurants are conveniently located right outside, making dining and getting around easy. Room facilities, cleanliness, and service may vary from person to person, but overall, it's convenient and affordable.

The front desk staff were great, and the owner was also very nice. Luggage handling follows the old town's rules, with pickup and drop-off included. The guesthouse's location is excellent, right in the center, yet it's very quiet. Perhaps the only downside is that you have to walk a bit to get to any of the gates from this central spot.

Excellent hospitality! The host even came to meet us at the border of the Ancient City to help carry out bags. He helped us plan activities and even made us tea. Upon leaving he also helped arrange a car for us and carried our luggage out again! He was so friendly and the hotel was beautiful.

Staying at this inn in the ancient town was the safest choice of the trip. The location is quiet yet not remote; it's just a short walk to Sifang Street, and returning to the courtyard instantly isolates you from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and dry, hot water came quickly, the mattress was much more comfortable than I expected, and it even had an electric blanket. The breakfast voucher could be redeemed for a small pot of rice noodles, which tasted quite good!

Loved this place with its lovely wood house, nice yard and super cosy rooms. Location is right off one of the main walking streets but very quiet and cosy…thank you 😉

Returning to Lijiang after 20 years, it felt just like before. The guesthouse was located near Sifang Street, in a tranquil environment, and the staff were warm and attentive, even arranging to pick up and drop off my luggage. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The location is in the heart of Lijiang Old Town. So, it is very convenient to go to the south or north gate. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Although there was a language barrier, but, with We Chat, we could communicate without any issues. The room is super comfortable. The most important for me is the bidet toilet. Should I come to Lijiang again in future, I will definitely choose this place again.

It's been a while since I've been back, but I finally remembered to review this B&B. This B&B is quaint and cozy. The busiest area of Lijiang Old Town is just 10 meters away, but the B&B is very quiet and not noisy at all. We took a bus from Dali to Lijiang. My phone was dead when we arrived, and I couldn't contact the owner, so we walked all the way to the B&B with our luggage. The owner was very embarrassed to see us arrive on our own, saying he had been waiting for our call to pick us up. The hospitality was so welcoming that we felt embarrassed, and they were very good to the children. I will definitely book this B&B again next time I go to Lijiang.
