💖The Lijiang Crystal Hilton Hotel, opened in 2023, boasts clean and tidy rooms with amenities including a dressing room, iron, ironing table, shoehorn, shoe polish, paper slippers, bathrobes, umbrellas, safe, weighing scale, and bathtub

Rooms are good and the view is nice. The windows need cleaning from the outside because there is a construction site next to the hotel, and the dust settles on the windows and ruins the nice lake view

Staff avoid speaking English all the time; they should try to communicate better since it is an international hotel brand. There is a 24/7 convenient store in the lobby which is very helpful and important

Though, it was a bit jarring to see so many Xpeng logos everywhere as they were launching a new car. Our housekeepers, Cici and Lisa, were always on standby, which was incredibly reassuring

It was my mom's birthday, so I brought her to visit an ancient town and see a snowy mountain. Jocelyn was very thoughtful, specially decorating the room and preparing a cake and fruit

I especially loved the fireplace in the lobby and the library area; the ambiance was simply incredible. Our room was spacious and bright, with stunning views right outside the window

When we left, Cafu was super nice, helping us with our luggage and stroller. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang!

Usually, after you call, a buggy will arrive within 5 minutes, which is super convenient. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich and varied. My favorite part was the different freshly squeezed juices every day

Cars are not allowed inside the ancient town, so it took about four minutes to get there from the bus at the South Gate while dragging a suitcase (if you contact them before arriving, they will come to pick you up in a cart)

Lijiang Liwang Hotel (Lijiang Liwang Jiudian) Although there were various issues, the staff were quick to respond and very helpful

The hotel is located in the Lijiang Ancient Town (near the South Gate), so it was a great location for evening or morning walks

There is a supermarket on the other side of the road from the South Gate

It's a little far from the main shopping district, but it's okay.

They serve a unique breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner which is a little bit of a buffet but also a three course meal (see photos). Food is unique and delicious where the menu changes each day

Bathrooms are laid out in a linear fashion with shower, no bath, and heated floors in winter (luxury!). Thoughtful touches included UV umbrellas and UV block provided, and even sunglasses 😎

The staff were very helpful; one male staff member, knowing I was experiencing altitude sickness, even used a luggage cart to take me to the hotel! 😂 I'm so grateful to him

Breakfast is a gourmet experience, with a multicourse Yunnan meal (one a la carte item, changes every second day, and a small buffet section). Afternoons included a delectable tea

The room had a strange smell, perhaps because it was newly renovated, which was its biggest drawback! On the plus side, the beds could be combined, the environment was nice and relatively new, and the location was good – quiet despite being central

Breakfast is a delightful mix of Chinese and Western dishes, including steamed banana cake, pancakes, and malt porridge – absolutely delicious! The auntie would thoroughly clean our room after we left

The auntie uses these to make chili sauce, jams, and salads. Outside the restaurant window, there's a tree with peanuts on it, and little squirrels would eat there while a cat watched from below

Good location at ShuHe ancient town, very friendly owner. Provide luggage pick up and drop off during our stay. Located near north entrance, around 30 mins walk

Large and comfortable room, fantastic location immersed in greenery and yet right in the center of Shuhe old town. What made the most difference was the staff: sweet, caring and welcoming
