The location is convenient for carrying luggage and is clean and hygienic. Although the bathroom has some exhaust problems, the price is cheap and acceptable. It clearly says that toothbrushes are not provided, but they replace them with new ones every day and throw away the old ones for you, which is a bit wasteful. You can provide new ones and just leave the old ones alone. Fortunately, Facebook asked the boss if he had a horsebox and he responded quickly, otherwise it would be really hard to get used to it. There is a washing machine for 15 yuan and a covered rooftop, which is great.

The location of the youth hostel is right next to the ancient town. Transportation and food are very convenient. As soon as you enter the door, you will be healed by the beautiful garden and the sound of the rustling bamboo leaves in the wind. There are also the cute black Lala Tenten and two kittens, which give you a sense of healing. The room is full and clean, with plenty of sunlight in the morning and afternoon. The CP value is 100 points.
I also recommend that there is a Xinjiang restaurant a few stores up. Fresh lamb directly delivered from Xinjiang, grilled mutton skewers/roasted kidneys/roasted liver wrapped in oil/hand-caught mutton/Xinjiang noodles/Xinjiang rice soup (noodles), super It’s delicious. I was attracted by this restaurant when I came to Lijiang this time😁
I also recommend that there is a Xinjiang restaurant a few stores up. Very good, it's an international youth hostel. I can meet people from many countries when I stay here. I will stay here again next time.

The hygiene is okay, the boss is very nice, the environment is okay, and the ancient city is opposite.

The manager had really good English, which she sneakily hid by being potentially shy about speaking it.
Location is great for the old town and has really cheap food places next door if you're on a budget.
The decor is potentially a little dated, but as a value location I was still very satisfied with my stay and would recommend to others.

If you want to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, take bus No. 101 and get on the bus at China Merchants Bank Station opposite the hotel. If you want to have a seat, walk for about 10 minutes and get on the bus at Zhongyi Market Station.
There are cute dogs and cats in the hotel, who are very well-behaved.
The boss' service is very good. The hotel has a washing machine that you can use at your own expense and a large clothes drying area.

Not much to say, one word: good 👍 I have stayed in many youth hostels and many inns in Lijiang. The style of Lao Xie’s is definitely an alternative youth hostel, which is completely different from the ordinary Nordic minimalist style, as shown in the picture; in today’s Lijiang, every inch of land is expensive, and no innkeeper will give you a courtyard or pond. There is a pool hall and a courtyard, as shown in the picture. In the evening, I like to chat with my boss by the pond. He drank the wine and I drank water. One dog (Teng Teng) and two cats are very good to play, and there is absolutely no peculiar smell in the store. The irregular lobby often accommodates handsome men and beautiful women who have nowhere to go. Stay for two days and continue for another two days. Such a change of itinerary is worth it!

Very clean - location is easy to get to. It’s nice to not be in maze of Old Town (I’ve gotten lost in the old town too many times lol). Staff are friendly and speak English. Wifi is good and there is even a network with a built in VPN. Very beautiful courtyard to hang out in. It’s also very close to a baozi stand on JinKai Lu that has THE BEST mushroom baozi
