Hotel Delfin in Omisalj

Seafront hotel with spacious rooms. We got two rooms connected with one bathroom for three people. Too bad the cleaning service is not frequent and the elevator didn't work for the whole week of our stay. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, however the restaurant and the cleaning staff are not. The dining facilities are a bit dated and but the menu was okay. Breakfast lacked more options as well as milk that would run out very early. The bathroom wasn't well maintained and lacked the hair dryer. There was a TV in our room with a sticky remote. The beach in front of the hotel is close, but we hardly ever used it since there are various beaches around the area. All in all, if you don't plan to stay in the room all day, it is a good place to stay over - nice and quiet to sleep, even though the airport is nearby.

Good choice in this price range. The beach is so close, but if you want some drink or food, you may walk 1km to the next beach bar and fastfood restaurant, because the hotel bar is open only morning and afternoon. There maybe problem with the parking if the hotel is full. The hotel is typical building from the '80. The stuff is friendly. The room is big and newest except the bathroom. Very good aircondition. No WiFi in the rooms! The mattresses are very old and uncomfortable. The breakfast time: 07-09AM! Many choices but no vegetables. The dinner is good. Big choices of meals. The smoking is not prohibited on the terrace in breakfast and dinner time.
We liked this very much despite of negatives.
