I do understand it was end of the session but the state of our room could of been better,shower head was broken,soap was empty etc... plus when we entered the hotel when we said hello nobody said anything back.Very awkward

A very nice place to stay overnight on the way to and from Croatia. The included breakfast could have been better, but it was good enough to warrant a lower rating. The room was clean, and the BATHTUB was perfect for relaxing after a long drive! For me, it was fantastic!

The room is clean and elegant. The staff is very friendly and polite. The breakfast buffet is quite sufficient and varied. I can give this rating to every one of our stays there.

The guest must pay the accommodation at the time of arrival at the reception, in advance, while receiving the bill upon departure; unusual. Ten-minute power failure at 11 pm?! Hotel is generally renovated, nice. :)

Nicely furnished and clean room with comfortable bed plus linens. Rain shower bath with good toiletries. Toilet did not have holder for toilet roll. TV could be better.

I stayed at this hotel while sightseeing in the national park. The room was small and cozy like a cottage, but it had all the basic necessities. The breakfast was also small but delicious.

Location very good, everything is close to you. Down you have bar ehere you can go. The bedroom have old smeelings probably because of carpets that serve many years... Tv signal no work... Electrical brackets fall off..

Clean and good located hotel. It's a bit old fashioned but that's not a big problem. Reasonable price. Breakfast included adds on the value for the money. Only thing odd for me is that the staff kept our ID's

Hotel is placed right in the centre. On reception they took ours ID’s and didn’t give them back until we asked them to give them back few hours after. Rooms are old-fashioned but OK. AC isn’t that strong to cool down the room, you have to wait for a good while. If you don’t expect too much it is probably good for you.

Absolutely value for money. Very functional, friendly personnel, very spacious rooms, right at the city centre at a stone throw of everything.

I've stayed at the Hotel Carlstadt at least four times over the years and have enjoyed every stay. My last stay was in early November of 2022. It's a no-frills hotel with affordable clean rooms and really good breakfast included in the price. The bed was really comfortable. Oh yes, the staff members were great. I'll definitely stay there again upon my next return to Croatia.

Have stayed at Carlstadt on 3 occasions now - twice in the same room 4 years apart and once (this visit) in the adjacent room. Considering it is a 3 star hotel you should not expect luxury however the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and there are facilities like a small TV, an air con and a bar fridge. On this latest visit the fridge was not working and the bathroom sink plug mechanism was missing...

A quiet haven in the countryside. We stayed in the upper apartment for two nights which is huge! Blanka welcomed us and showed us around, and since the weather was cold, already had the stove on. The kitchen is well equipped, in fact we cooked breakfast one morning. The place is spotlessly clean, and has a comfortable bed. There is no walk in shower, there is a shower in the bath. Quiet and beautiful nature, charming place, horses dogs and a cat interesting for kids to see, good WiFi, pleasant hosts. Terrible acoustic insulation, can hear other guests, low on hot water if more guests, tap water not drinkable.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here and had everything we needed. The room was clean and tidy and you have your own balcony. There is a communal fridge you can use and there is parking available outside the property. On the main road there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.

The rooms are clean, the price is quiete cheap. The owner was super friendly, he even took us to the plitvice national park Park because we didn't have a car.

Good location about a 10-15 min drive from plitvice lakes. Room is a good size. Would be nice of it had air conditioning though. The room can get pretty warm especially in august.

Very nice place to get rested. They even let us change the reservation length on short notice which was appreciated.

We only stayed one night here for our day at Plitvice Lakes but we wish we had time to stay longer! The room is beautiful and the host was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Environment is very nice and cozy stay. The facility is well equip. The host is nice and friendly. He even lend us bike to explore the neighborhood.

Probably one of the best place we've stayed. Very clean spacious room and comfortable beds. We were a family of 4 with two teens. Had kitchen with everything, we had breakfast at our balcony with breathtaking view. Dinner was lovely too. Zivan was the kindest and charming host who really looks after us, great advice/tips around the plitzice national park. We'd definitely come back!

Amazing Stay Zivan was an amazing host. A wonderful hotel in the middle of a large park! You can't get a nicer place to stay in Karlovac. The breakfast was great and the view of the river is breathtaking. We would love to come back again!

Good breakfast, very large rooms. Good location, near the river in a green area. The city center is only 15 minutes walk. It is possible to rent bicycles at the hotel. The pool is small, but it's there! - stayed here in July 2020
