Moon Rocks Hostel in Novaglia

Price for what you get is responsible but I’ve stayed in many hostels which are considered as party ones and this one was really messy.
When we arrived just the bedsheets were changed and okay. Floor and shower (in our room) were very dirty. Common showers and toilets were okay. Some of the staff are nice and some as if they weren't there.
Of course it depends with who you will stay in the room as next nights we had really clean and nice people.
Pool area is cool.

We left a deposit during the check in and during the check out with Ivona Hibic (head of tourism department at papaya accommodation) she came with a big guy (maybe to impress us) and said that some towels were missing whereas we were NEVER given anything at all at the checkin. So she decided to keep half of our deposit. She was speaking in Croatian all the time with her big guy and accused us to have thrown her towels outside from the balcony. We left the flat clean and we didn't break anything at all though. We just felt scammed by this person and the agency she works for called Papaya. We went to this agency and we've been told that they couldn't do anything for us. Really bad experience and we won't come back. We just feel now that we can't trust Croatian people. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even to my worst enemy. Save your economy and don't deal with this hostel and travel agency.

Security of the hostel act by selfish reason and also they act by their own mind. They didn't notice there are times when they don't act like they should. There was breach of the law and but the time we listened music was 8pm and not after 10pm, we are aware there are some rules but this wasn't breach of the one. We know we should act better but this was also first time we were noticed by security . I hope we didn't notice any further interruptions.

Great location, for the price it was a good stay but I had a bad experience.

Some guy was drunk and bashing the door for us to open because his key didn't work at 6am. My friend's key also didn't work and the receptionist said we had to wiggle the keys! My friend wanted to extend and was told to go to the reception at 9am to change rooms but in the morning, ended up staying in the same room and when I asked to check out later than 9am, was told it was not possible.

They have a pool bar that opens at 10am which didn't have coffee and restaurant that opens at 10am when check out is at 9.

Rooms were dirty, beds are dirty and broken, they smell.
The service is very rude, they didnt want return our deposit back though we didnt make any problems.

This place is average. Girls at reception had no idea about sonus festival shuttle times, they give me wrong information even tho this place is booked through festival site. They don’t know that we could get Festival wristbands at accommodation check in even tho it is written on Sonus Festival e mails.
About exchanging money at the entrance there is a board which says 0% commissions but they give $1=7.07 kuna when in reality $1 equals to 7.51 kunas. Ok girls you take no commission I believe you😂

The service is very poor, and rude.
I went to ask information at the reception, and the receptionist was laying on the chair with her legs spread and texting… she didn’t even raise her eyes when answering.

Zero stars if possible! Dirty place, breakfast is - if it it and the power is not out- decayed and expired sausages and fried bread. That is literally it! No tea, water, nothing- AND, the breakfast room and all the cutlery, tables and plates are dirty as hell! Rooms dirty as well, no toilet paper if you ask for it, you have to buy your own, beds destroyed, people stealing from the balconies and from the rooms as even If locked, will easily open!the pool is a green joke with no cleaning whatsoever! Never again!Specially not with the travel agency PartyKybl!!!
