Clean, on the beach, but very simple. Old rooms and bathrooms.

Perfect, clean, lovely place right on the cliffs. Staff is so nice and helpful, everyone is very professional yet warm. Suits are spaceous for Croatia and the bed was unbelievable comfortable. Clean ocean site, well maintained. Perfect get away for couples.

This was more like a guest house than a hotel. Very clean with a balcony and a nice sea view. Very quiet area. Nothing much going on but a friendly stay and the local pub was very accommodating when I needed just some hot water for cold medicine.

An exceptionally well-maintained hotel with excellent staff. The food is outstanding, exceeding expectations and far surpassing comparable 4-star hotels. The rooms are well-arranged and impeccably clean. For top-notch service, the relaxation area in the sauna should be expanded, as four loungers are insufficient for proper operation. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the Boutique Hotel Esplanade in Crikvenica for 1-night in mid-Apr (€128). The hotel is located across from the beach at the north-west edge of town, a short walk down the pleasant promenade to the restaurants and bars of the main plaza on the small boat harbour. Our superior seaside suite with balcony was in the historic part of the hotel, beautifully renovated with stylish, modern finishes...

Clean and elegant hotel. The room was spaceious and well equipped. Breakfast was an experience in itself, 5-star breakfast with al-carte The beach just across the road. Everything you need is near the hotell: Restaurants, bakery, bike rental, food shop. Crikvenica is a typical Mediterranean resort town, but in the hotel you get to stay in your own little peacefull bubble with great service.

Hotel is nothing special. It is old and quick renovated. Bathrooms are still old. Wellness also new. Staff is friendly. I would recommend this hotel only for short stay. But breakfast is superb. Alla cart, at least it was during covid.

Everything is fine so far, but the service staff at breakfast, for example, are not very attentive! Empty plates etc. are left on the table, even though the staff walk past the table empty up to 4 times!

Location is convenient as it is right by the water with lots of beautiful beaches within walking distance. Restaurant service was friendly, efficient and food was fine with good menu choice. The hotel has a very prime location. Just a step out and you are in front of the beach and a long street of food joints.The rooms are in very good shape but the windows just face other room windows, which may put off some people. The worst part of the stay was, that the parking is exorbitantly expensive 13 EUR per day (which is not clear during booking). The reception also does not look very welcoming

Great accommodation .. a varied breakfast .. too bad they don't serve dinner..but that's why the terrace of the Kindergarten restaurant is too good under the hotel .. i recommend both .. i'll be back there when then .. :)

Very good location, the room was big enough. There is a slight repair residue. The staff was very friendly The breakfast was good and could be taken on the terrace. The underground car park was very good. Very close to the sea and the city. Only a few television programs in German.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. I asked for gluten free bread and non dairy milk for breakfast and they seved if all. Thank you very much for that. But wi-fi was disaster: either very very slow or there was no service. If you don't do anything about it, we will consider comming again. Beautiful grounds, friendly, bright rooms, and absolutely warm service. The breakfast is varied and absolutely delicious. You feel cared for and accepted. I can only warmly recommend it.

Beautiful little complex with very comfortable rooms, a great pool and very personal service. Our absolute highlight: the barbecue evening with delicious meat, fish and vegetables and tasty regional wine and grappa. Super nice boutique hotel with 13 rooms. Have been greeted very nicely, the owner family is just magical. Here you can switch off really well. Once a week there is a barbecue evening with fish, meat and vegetables. You just feel great here. Will leave tomorrow and will miss the great atmosphere, but also the beautiful island of Krk.

Excellent palace to stay in, beautifully decorated, clean, stylish and functional rooms, great hosts, great breakfast, snacks and dinner, peaceful atmosphere.

Swimming pool area is very stuffy. No outside pool, no dedicated beach part.

Nice rooms, cosy beds, great variety for breakfast, polite stuff, clean pool area, spa and saunas working nicely and available whole day. A/C works properly in rooms and rooms are quite and sound insulation is superb. The two things that can be a bit better: since new building rooms dont have a balcony a retractible wire in the bathroom would be nice for drying towels. Water in a pool could be 2-3...

Great stay, minor tweaks to be brilliant A lovely hotel, ideally located. Though advertised as 5 star, the housekeeping was limited (clean towels and bed made), no replenishment of coffee or water. Great breakfast spread, though the hot breakfast was like warm at best. However, these are minor grumbles as we had a fantastic long weekend.

Booked this based on the reviews but in honesty, it's as basic as a decent hotel gets. There was nothing bad about it but it certainly isn't a 5* experience. Breakfast is great. Dinner is OK, there's a little something for everyone but no drinks included. Prosecco is only served at breakfast.. No dress code for dinning in the evening. VERY relaxed so no need to dress up classy (odd for a 5*) one...
