Amazing friendly and great food

I wish I was told about car parking charge at checking in. Coffee from coffee machine was terrible, probably instant coffee used? When asking for pool towels be ready to pay 5€ a day per towel, never before had that happened.

Too much waiting at the reception Hotel was with accesiblecconditions.But at the reception we wait too much to thei checking about our reservation.It was no good and no proffesional.

Was here for a conference for about 50 people and the hotel was great. Right on the water - get the rooms with a view. Food was excellent - our package included dinner one day and breakfast and lunch the other days. Swimming pool area is very stuffy. No outside pool, no dedicated beach part.

Very nice hotel with great food!

Nice rooms, cosy beds, great variety for breakfast, polite stuff, clean pool area, spa and saunas working nicely and available whole day. A/C works properly in rooms and rooms are quite and sound insulation is superb. The two things that can be a bit better: since new building rooms dont have a balcony a retractible wire in the bathroom would be nice for drying towels. Water in a pool could be 2-3...

Great stay, minor tweaks to be brilliant A lovely hotel, ideally located. Though advertised as 5 star, the housekeeping was limited (clean towels and bed made), no replenishment of coffee or water. Great breakfast spread, though the hot breakfast was like warm at best. However, these are minor grumbles as we had a fantastic long weekend.

Booked this based on the reviews but in honesty, it's as basic as a decent hotel gets. There was nothing bad about it but it certainly isn't a 5* experience. Breakfast is great. Dinner is OK, there's a little something for everyone but no drinks included. Prosecco is only served at breakfast.. No dress code for dinning in the evening. VERY relaxed so no need to dress up classy (odd for a 5*) one...

This hotel has great position - right at the beach. It's big and nice, the receptionists spoke English very well and were very helpful and nice. There is one big problem with this hotel. The word Kaštel means church and so every day starting at 6 a.m., the bells start ringing and you can hear it through the walls. That's not great on a vacation.

Perfect, clean, lovely place right on the cliffs. Staff is so nice and helpful, everyone is very professional yet warm. Suits are spaceous for Croatia and the bed was unbelievable comfortable. Clean ocean site, well maintained. Perfect get away for couples.

A clean hotel, polite people and perfect place for enjoy your holiday!

This was more like a guest house than a hotel. Very clean with a balcony and a nice sea view. Very quiet area. Nothing much going on but a friendly stay and the local pub was very accommodating when I needed just some hot water for cold medicine.

Great kitchen, always warm & tasty meals, very nice and warm restaurant staff. Wife n me were here with our 3year old daughter, and Ruzica's breakfast and dinner was really enough for us. Rooms are spacious and clean. Most important, Ruzica is 50 meters from public sand beach.

A little bit antiquated, especially the TV in the room. Very cool inside without starting the AC.

Vila Ružica is not just another seaside reasort. It originates from a different era and it has that old vibe which I found it pleasant. It's not new, it's renovated. Food is ok, no superlatives but still deasant. A short distant walk to the city center.

I had a short stay in this hotel and am overall pleased. The staff was very pleasant and the food in the restaurant was great. The hotel is also really close to the coastline, which was the real treat.

This hotel is experience, joy and fun. Placed in the center square in Crikvenica, you have everything on the palm, a few minutes of walk, to the near beach even shorter.

Very nice-kind staff, room clean , ( sadly the people in stores generally unfriendly , seems they have enough from the turists. ) but in the hotel they were really friendly and smiley. Excellent hotel! Very pleased! I was with my wife. The rooms are clean, there are no odors. Air conditioning, internet, hot water - it works) Settled in a room with a sea view, it is indescribable! Nice hotel on the Selce promenade. Big problem is the parking place with very limited number of parking slots. Hotel is quite old, but still kept in acceptable condition. My wife was missing vegetables on the breakfast. Overall food was tasty, the selection rather poor. The advantage of this hotel is the location.

Great place above the sea. Walk down to the Hotel-Beach. At the beach there is a great bar and you enjoy the sun and coffee or something cold right at the water.

It should be more profesional receptionists for the money that we spend. But the location, garden and interier is beautiful and magic.

When I now give 5 stars, then I'v given 5 too often before! Very nice, quiet and especially in summer cool rooms. Very nice service personel, great food. The pool is OK but there are a little few beds. The beach is reserved for hotel guest, a little fee for entrance.

An exceptionally well-maintained hotel with excellent staff. The food is outstanding, exceeding expectations and far surpassing comparable 4-star hotels. The rooms are well-arranged and impeccably clean. For top-notch service, the relaxation area in the sauna should be expanded, as four loungers are insufficient for proper operation. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the Boutique Hotel Esplanade in Crikvenica for 1-night in mid-Apr (€128). The hotel is located across from the beach at the north-west edge of town, a short walk down the pleasant promenade to the restaurants and bars of the main plaza on the small boat harbour. Clean and elegant hotel. The room was spaceious and well equipped. Breakfast was an experience in itself, 5-star breakfast with al-carte The beach just across the road. Everything you need is near the hotell: Restaurants, bakery, bike rental, food shop. Crikvenica is a typical Mediterranean resort town, but in the hotel you get to stay in your own little peacefull bubble with great service.

Hotel is nothing special. It is old and quick renovated. Bathrooms are still old. Wellness also new. Staff is friendly. I would recommend this hotel only for short stay. But breakfast is superb. Alla cart, at least it was during covid.

Everything is fine so far, but the service staff at breakfast, for example, are not very attentive! Empty plates etc. are left on the table, even though the staff walk past the table empty up to 4 times!

The hotel has a very prime location. Just a step out and you are in front of the beach and a long street of food joints.The rooms are in very good shape but the windows just face other room windows, which may put off some people. The worst part of the stay was, that the parking is exorbitantly expensive 13 EUR per day (which is not clear during booking). The reception also does not look very welcoming

Two seperate villas with non-intrusive exterior. It's very clean and cosy. Staff is very polite and at your service. If you are coming by big car you might find it a bit problematic to park infront as the street is quite narrow. Indoor (garage) parking is about 10eur/night.

Fantastic hotel, amazing service and incredibly kind staff. A homely and welcoming feel where you feel valued and looked after. Breakfast is delicious, the hotel is impeccably clean and the rooms are spacious too. There is a pool, jacuzzi, and a small fitness room too. One of the best places I have stayed.

The beach was very close. The owners were very helpful. The villa had a little nice well equipped garden/terrace. The villa was big, comfortable, clean and well equipped, too. We fit comfortable in it. We walked down easily to the beach in several times a day, which was very close. We enjoyed the vacation very much.

We used their sunbeds and umbrellas for few days (50 kunas / day / person) on concrete beach. It was perfect. But they have mess in recognizing who already paid and who not. One old woman woke us when we were sleeping on sunbeds. Clearly they have mess in their system because they dont have any system in renting sunbeds and umbrellas. We already paid younger woman in the morning a she gave us nametags...

Nice hotel room for the guests. Near the beach whit few slides, trampolins and places to play tennis, football and other sports.

The experience here was pretty much perfect. Ivana's responses leading up to our visit were prompt and complete. She continued to be great once we got there with a walk through of the space and what turned out to be an excellent restaurant recommendation just down the street.
