Hotel Miramare in Vodice

Hello reader. We stayed at the Hotel Miramare for 3 nights. The rooms were spacious and air-conditioned. The hotel was clean with nice and helpful staff. The bathroom has a more older feel than the room and instead of one single 180×200 mattress there are two 90×200 mattresses. The hotel has a elevator and a nice outside pool. The buffet breakfast was nice with a vide varieties of options. entrance to the parking is shared with hotel Olympia and should be more clearly indicated. The price of parking is 9€per day outside and 15€ per day in the garage. The beach is 50m away and you have 15 min to the city centre. Try them for yourself.

Lovely family run hotel. Our recent trip to beautiful Croatia was made even more special due to the lovely staff and the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, plenty of choice at breakfast with lovely coffee and we had mainly the fish in the evening., all served with soup, salad and a desert. The hotel was spotless and clean and the gardens are well looked after. It was too cold to swim in the pool but was lovely to sit in the sun, especially as the sun loungers had sun shades so we could read our books. Our room had everything you need with a great sea view. Lovely comfortable bed, Samsung TV which I was able to pair with my phone so I could watch a film before bed. Vodice is lovely with great beaches and beautiful walks. We also easily visited other towns and cities from the nearby bus station. Great hotel and our experience was 5 star.

Pleasant Surprise
I was just searching for a hotel near Krka National Park. I didn't realize it was on the beach. The beach location gave us a pleasant evening and lots of good dining options.

The breakfast was excellent.

Staff is the best thing in this hotel. They are helpful and nice, even for chitchat. Breakfast is good, something for everyone. Very clean everywhere. Small but nice arboretum in the back for meditation. Calm location and next to the beach and restaurants.

What I didn't like was interior design. Pastel colours and pink clinkers. Green lazyr paintings on the wall. Old fashion styles with purpose. Not for my taste. But it's romance for someone. Another minus was I could not turn the AC on, just fan. Even though trip was on September, so no need for ac. Slept window open, cooler nights.

The prices (rooms, drinks, etc.) are bit higher compared for average hotel, but the reasons are understodable. Staff speaks fluent German and English, easy communication, location can't be better and clean, safe staying.
