It was a bit awkward because the distance from the city center was ambiguous. It was very inconvenient to adjust the internal temperature at the counter in winter. I was satisfied with the breakfast menu.

I spent a week in this structure for work, the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was large and functional; the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast to try! I will be back

Bad luck with room? My room didn't have air conditioning and was in need of renovation anyway. Apparently I was unlucky because some of the group got a renovated room (same price and booking) with air conditioning.

10 mins, # 14 tram, ride from main train station (get off at Elektra stop about 7 or stops from station) and then a 2 mins walk to hotel. Check in was easy although early, we just ended up having lunch in the lobby restaurant (great food) until room ready. Rooms were clean, although you could not adjust the temp and we found the rooms warm, especially when sleeping. Windows opened, but no screens...

The hotel location was excellent and had adequate parking for guests. The restaurant in the hotel served an excellent breakfast and had a nice area to sit outside. Our room needed to be updated, the carpet was very faded and stained. The shower also needed some work. It needed new caulking and the shower base was cracked.

Stayed here for business trip, everything was OK. The location is very good. It is convenient to go everywhere. The hotel room is a little small, but it's OK. The breakfast is also very rich. It's good.

Clean room, good location and staff were very nice. Room itself was a bit basic with no coffee or tea making facilities, the beds weren't the best and the pillows were very uncomfortable and lacked any kind of support for the neck.

Nice and comfortable room for affordable price. Breakfast was amazing and staff was very kind and friendly. Only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the room so it can get quite hot in there. Therefore I cannot give 5/5 stars but it is solid 4.5*

Old hotel building but it has been renovated to be good value for money. Biggest problem is lack of AC. Fan was available in the room. Breakfast was very good. Parking is not free of charge but EV charging was free of charge (3x 11kW chargers).

Simple Small size room with basic equipment, clean. Kitchenette is a plus, however, only with a bare minimum of equipment (cutlery, plates, one cup and two glasses per person...). Room facing the square was noisy from tram traffic, combined with summer heat and need to keep windows open this was a pain. Central location is excellent for trips and exploring.

We needed one night stop on our business trip to Central Europe (late arrival, early departure), so it was pointless to spend too big money for such accommodation. I chose Hotel Nikolas because it was on the road and offered free parking. My first impression was rather negative, as the building didn't look very inviting from the outside, but I have to admit that it turned out to be a good choice....

Large single room halfway between train station and old town centre (15 min walk). Very friendly and informative staff. Trams outside on main road not a problem for us. Bed was squeeky and a little to firm. But overall a very good stay. Thanks. 

Facilities: While renovated, the hotel lacks user-friendly features. Details like insufficient hot water and a lack of outlets near the bedside could be improved. Small hotel caught in between the train station and city center. Therefore the location is not ideal. Also a bit of walk to the tram stop. Supermarket (that I was able to spot) is one stop away.

Wonderful place to get the rest during your journey. Maybe old fashioned interior in corridors and restaurant, but the room was modern, clean and comfortable. Linen was white and fresh. There's a tram nearby, the front desk staff are very helpful, the room is very clean and comfortable, and breakfast is included, so you can have a nice bite to eat before heading out.

The vibe was a little weird - it literally shares space with a dorm. Not bad, just unusual. The room was very clean and there was light housekeeping daily. The breakfast spread was good with lots of options and really good coffee. Overall great value for the money, plus clean and safe.

All was ok until someone from the stuff approached me during breakfast raising her voice (almost screaming) telling me that breakfast was not included (it was) and that I should go to reception. I left in the middle of my breakfast y confirmed that it was included with reception. Nobody apologised for that situation. What a way to waste an experience.

A simple hotel in Ostrava. No elevator, very noisy from trams and cars under the window. Breakfast is modest, shower leaks, bed is very hard, pillow is flat, bed linen and towels are clean, there is a hairdryer. Our room had a mini-kitchen and dishes.

I stayed in transit as part of a bus tour. Room 705. It was a typical student dorm. It was winter, so the room was comfortable. The bed linens were clean. There was a hairdryer. The electric kettle didn't work, so I had to use the one in the shared kitchen on the floor. Toiletries were provided, towels were adequate, and the WiFi was good. This is an affordable hotel to stay. It’s cheaper to stay on monthly basis rather than daily. The hotel manager is nice and understanding. The location offers flexibility for commuting. There’s a bus stop nearby and breakfast is possible but you have to pay for it.

Even though it's called Lowcost, it's definitely not low quality. Very nice little rooms, clean, sufficiently equipped, comfortable beds and simple, but nice interior. Friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out. One thing though, the curtains are light, so in the morning, it's too bright in the room.

Decent rooms, it's actually is a low cost hotel. Everything else was full because of the festival so end up taking this place and I'm happy that we got it. Not so cheap but value for money for this time and place

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the city of Ostrava but it is well connected to the center via trams or an hour long walk. The rooms are clean and tidy but definitely on the small side, not ideal if people arrive for a long time or with a lot of luggage. Great hotel tucked away in a residential section of Ostrava. While the rooms are not huge, but they clean and modern. They have a quaint restaurant and bar on the ground floor that doubles as a breakfast room for those that have breakfast included. If you’ve ever dreamed of hosting an “Indian-style” wedding for 500 guests, this is the place! I only stayed one night, but it felt like I was part of the celebration anyway – the breakfast buffet was so huge, I half expected a marching band to appear. Comfortable rooms for affordable prices, and nice food in the restaurant as well! There are about 6 different beers on tap from industrial breweries, I had a Pilsner Urquell and a Radegast 12 that I enjoyed. Check in and check out we're easy and fast, and since we were there for a sports competition in the nearby sports hall the location was perfect. Lots of parking spots with cameras to them as well

Great place to stay if need to oversleep for one night. There are Restaurant which is convenient if you arrive late. The room was clean but towels were terrible. It is near the railway...so a bit noisy.

Large rooms, excellent breakfast. Right on the 'Stodolni' street, which never sleeps (pubs and bars everywhere). Might be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, ask for a room with windows facing the yard. My room was equipped with a kitchen with a microwave oven.
