The staff! The entire entertainment crew was absolutely amazing!! I could name all of them and truly mean they did good. Bubaloo, Jose, Nicky Minaj, Alexis, and the other girls were the most welcoming and sweetest people
The usual suspects of pool chair hogs every stinkin day that the resort needs to better address ( There are signs at literally every pool cabana and umbrella to address the issue but obviously the offenders cant read!!) Second issue is reserving the ala carte restaurants
Having access to 4 large and very nice pool areas was great. The room was okay but the room cleaning staff was excellent. The food at the buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner had a wide variety of options
The main pool was where the party was at! We did water aerobics (so much harder than you think), played hot potato with a twist it was so fun
The pools were so much fun! There’s a quiet pool where to read/tan and things like that if that’s more your vibe
(the girls names are harder to remember for me but did just as good!) not only was the entertainment crew awesome but the landscapers, life guards, bartenders, restaurant crew, and lobby workers looked like they loved their jobs and gave us a friendly smile and most of the time said hi to us!

Great experience! Some improvements needed such as better hot water in the rooms. Sometimes some pools were closed. Provide food delivery in the rooms. However, overall great relaxing experience
Staff were great and buffet had variety for picky eaters and others alike. Music at pool and shows was very loud so we had to sit far away but overall great family trip
Honesty I didnt have big expectations for this resort but it is small and eash to navigate than the Punta Cana big hotels and you really get to know the staff. Food was hot and so much selection
Excellent!! The buffet was excellent! The grounds immaculate. The room was large and had a refrigerator stocked daily. The pool was large and had a swim up bar
Love the whole resort, everything was up to par with the beach, pool, food. I wish they had more activities and the room's AC was always breaking down and turning off
The pools were nicen well maintained, and cleqned every day! For an older hotel they really do a good job keeps things maintained and are quick to help if you have a need

And the area around the hotel is very dirty and right off a main road but inside the property the hotel feels resort like with a garden and pool with a swim up bar. Pool was amazing and seating was conformable
Overall a beautiful hotel, pool and comfortable bed. But as a woman, do not bleed on the sheets as it costs you $30 because you "broke the sheet". I thought that was the reason hotels used white sheets
This property is very good for a one night stay if you are boarding a ship in the nearby port. They have a pool and a restaurant and you don’t need to leave the compound. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
One side there is just two full size beds and a bathroom. The other side of hotel by pool has a kitchenette and sitting room. The doors do not seal well so there is lots of bugs and mosquitoes
Restaurant is nice an lots of room by the pool. It’s a quick walk to the mall
Personaly a great location to get easy acces to some good stores, place to exchange currency and do missions for the LORD, friendly people and quiet place.

Very beautiful hotel, with very nice design and pool area with bar. The beach and the area not the best. But for some go to excursion or need to go stay a Romana for work it is a great option. Very good food
Nice, clean hotel, nothing exceptional but you have all you need and all in all everything is in order. Very good value for money and friendly staff. A little bit noisy at night and it was only possible to pay in cash
My room didn't have a window, but the ceiling was very high, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The facilities are a bit dated, but that's insignificant compared to the price! The staff were also very friendly!
Excellent pick. Close to cruise port, there's a great chicken place two blocks away, and the family-run hotel is very welcoming. Shout-out to Davide, Micaela, and Joseph
The hotel offers excellent value for money, located right in the colonial district, making shopping very convenient. It has an open-air restaurant with very good food
La Romana trip Patricia and Mariano make sure guests feel like family. Place is cozy and very comfortable.

If you are looking for real Dominican Republic atmosphere with friendly people, this Hostel would be good for you, very friendly staff in Hotel, they doing their best, tasty, tasty breakfast, Little bit problem with booking and expectations room could be different from , which you are booked and the price little little different too , but in general good
Wonderful hotel with all the amenities and location that Amy visitor to la Romana could ask for. Centrally located, excellent staff cater to you personally. The owners are always on site and very helpful.
I can definitely recommend this place
The hotel needs a complete restoration. Do not expect a spa, or Jacuzzi. It's only a quiet place to sleep in for a couple of days, and go outside after breakfast. They need to redecorate the place
We booked a night at Hostal Simona, because we spontaneously decided to stay in La Romana. The pictures looked fine and the price was fair (AND included breakfast)
The lady at the reception was super nice, very helpful (and spoke perfect English). She even offered us a cup of coffee during check in. I was sad we couldn't stay longer, but I hope to be able to visit soon again
