Where to stay in Samana

The room was immacuate, the service above and beyond my expectation and both my ambassadors Alexander and Eddyl were the best.

This place is something else. I would have to advise for the people coming to visit this resort who are American it is quite the adventure to get to this side of the island. You either fly into Santo Domingo or Santiago and have to either take a cab 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours to this side of the island. Or you can rent a car if you want to be bold. Clean, overlooking a beautiful beach. The staff was excellent. Did not give it a higher rating because at times there was nothing to eat. For an all inclusive, this is not the standard. However the food options were good when the buffet was open.

The TV did not work and was small , some of the property appliances were out dated , the room service was limited . The drinks were cheap brands . Expected more out of this experience. But the view in our room was beautiful A plus for that .

Had initial issues with the rooms. They gave us a different room after that, everything was great.

The rooms and the hotel were very clean. All the employees were very friendly. ONE VERY PLUS WAS THE PRESIDENT BEERS were fro mte bottle.

The staff was very nice and helpful, Specially thr bartender (Mauricio) at the lobby bar. He was very knowledgeable of the drinks and recomended a restaurant in the town outside the resort.

The room was modern, well equiped and clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. The requirement to wear a wristband was a total surprise, strange and a bit demeaning. The drive to get to Samana was sketchy and challenging.

Amazing hotel and the pool on the roof was the best way to end the day- especially with the bar being up there as well.

The owner of the hotel is absolutely accommodating and amazing. My rental car got hit by a motorcyclist while parked in front of the hotel. He helped me manage dealing with the local police and extended our stay to ensure we were comfortable and able to handle this stressful situation as smoothly as possible. Positive good hotle for price range, excellent breakfast, friendly staff who served breakfast at 07:30 although breakfast start at 08:00, balcony room with amazing view. Negative some rooms need renovation, breakfast start at 08:00, too late if you plan whale watching at 08:00. out of town center so only book if you have a car.

We had an amazing stay at Figaro in Jan2021. The view is gorgeous for sure but the staff is also super friendly and willing to help! The breakfast is great and the staff team also sets up bbq on the roof for weekend days, which makes the atmosphere even cozier. The room was great, bathroom was very clean and functional and the WiFi worked very well! Definitely recommend!

Lovely place to stay when in Samana. Very good breakfast included in the price with amazing friendly service. The check in is fast and well organized. Would recommend this Hotel based on the free private parking in front of the hotel and the beautiful infinity pool and restaurant service.

We arrived at night and the room they assigned was humid and therefore smelly. They changed us to a smaller room but the smell was more pleasant. After dinner at one of the lovely restaurants -which by the way have a fantastic female bartender-, we requested a corkscrew, since there was none available in the room and we are still waiting for it -even when we approved an in-room corkage fee of US$1...
