The owner of the hotel is absolutely accommodating and amazing. My rental car got hit by a motorcyclist while parked in front of the hotel. He helped me manage dealing with the local police and extended our stay to ensure we were comfortable and able to handle this stressful situation as smoothly as possible. The rooms were clean and had hot water. Breakfast was tasty. I just wish I had more time in samana to explore before I had to leave. Big thanks to all the staff and owner here for the help. Anyone traveling to samana will be in good hands here.

I couldn’t get the check in since nobody was at lobby, even I call everywhere at place. I had to go to another place to sleep

Don’t let the pictures fool you. We were traveling with a group and despite us being the only guests at this “hotel” the rooms they gave us were disgusting! All of the plumbing fixtures were rusted, there was no hot water, the window in the bathroom faced the parking garage. The towels were unclean, the night stands next to the bed has a mysterious liquid on it, and string. We ended up checking out and going to a much better hotel that had modern amenities that one would expect at a decent hotel. We also ended up discovering the closed section of the hotel that was where all the pictures were from. It’s a mystery as to why they would give us the rooms they did and not what was in the pictures. They did offer us those rooms when we decided to leave but at that point the damage was done. My advice. Don’t even consider staying here.

Positive good hotle for price range, excellent breakfast, friendly staff who served breakfast at 07:30 although breakfast start at 08:00, balcony room with amazing view. Negative some rooms need renovation, breakfast start at 08:00, too late if you plan whale watching at 08:00. out of town center so only book if you have a car.

This is regular low class hotel. It shouldn’t be called boutique. This hotel has nothing special. It is not what was expecting as boutique hotel at all.

Very noisy hotel so avoid if you like to sleep. There is a lot of noise from the road, the disco next door and other guests in the hallways.
The employee are friendly but it just don't outweigh the downsides.

This place doesn’t look anything like the pictures. The room they gave me was disgusting and clearly previously used and not cleaned. I didn’t stay and demanded a refund. Booking should not have this dump as a listing.

This place is not worth the price. I stayed two nights breakfast wasn't bad they had a few options. My complaint is there was no hot water the toilet was laughable the size. While sitting on the toilet I could put my head and arms on the wall in front of me. I will not ever come back. The photos on the internet are doctored up the pool looks huge it's just a tiny square pool. The rooms are also small ant the bathroom are tiny.
