We booked a Transfer from the airport. And what you know?! The owner of the Resort himself came to take us. This tells me how much he cares for the comfortablness of his guests.
The staff are all very helpfull and so friendly.
You would feel like a moviestar spending a little time here.
We enjoyed the openair warmtub as well as the indoor sauna!

A magical location, a top-notch team, accommodating services. By far our best experience in Lapland.

One of the best resort with superb view day & night with nice outdoor jacuzzi in Saariselka. Strong Wifi, floor heater etc. It's 6 stars actually. ❣️

The hotel is extremely modern, especially when it comes to the suites. We stayed in a suite with a private whirlpool and sauna, which was beautifully designed, very comfortable and felt truly luxurious. The overall atmosphere of the suite was excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and welcoming.

That said, the hotel is very high-end price-wise, and with that comes a naturally high expectation of luxury and service. One thing that slightly disappointed us was the room service: during our four-night stay, housekeeping came only once, which felt insufficient for a hotel in this price category.

Another downside was the breakfast experience. The quality was unfortunately not what we expected given the overall standard and price of the resort. Breakfast is served at a separate location, which requires taking a shuttle every morning. The restaurant itself feels somewhat dated and does not visually match the modern aesthetic of the resort. We were told that this will be updated and modernized next year, which would be a great improvement. The breakfast was okay, but not particularly enjoyable and simply not on the level one would expect from a luxury resort.

We also booked a tour through the hotel, which turned out to be disappointing. While this is not directly the hotel’s fault, it might be worth being more selective with the external partners the hotel cooperates with. For example, we paid €770 for a private snowmobile tour that was sold as a two-hour experience but only included about one hour of actual driving. Similar experiences can likely be found for a better price and quality elsewhere.

Regarding husky farms: we did not visit one ourselves, but friends strongly advised us to be cautious due to animal welfare concerns at some locations. If animal welfare is important, we were personally recommended Happy Huskies, which can be booked privately.

On the positive side, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the supermarket within certain time slots, which was very convenient. The airport shuttle, however, is quite expensive at €45 per person, one way. That said, taxi prices in the area are generally similar, so this should simply be factored into the overall cost.

Overall, a beautiful, modern hotel with stunning suites and very friendly staff. With some improvements to breakfast, housekeeping frequency, and tour partnerships, this could easily be a five-star experience.

The location is beautiful! Juuso and Nicky were such amazing host! They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best vacation. I finally got to check off the northern lights from my bucket list. I am so grateful for The Aurora Collection and the amazing service they provide. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Staying at the Aurora Collection Resort was a magical experience! The hotel owners have thought about every detail to please their guests.
The bed was super comfortable, very good shower, perfect breakfast (the best I had in Finland) and great quality toiletries.
Each room has its own sauna and jacuzzi, which I haven't seen in any other hotel in the area, and the view is fantastic!
There are many winter activities in the region and the hotel took care of all the booking for us. They also drove us from and to these activities free of charge.
We saw the northern lights, drove a snowmobile, went to a ski resort and on a husky safari (and there are many other activities).
I loved it and I can't stop recommending it to my friends.
