Great location near the train station and city center, everything within walking distance. Very clean with a charming boutique vibe. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh orange juice and fruit. I really enjoyed my stay and will come back again.

I initially booked Hotel Vallonia - they got in touch with me and told me that they would be closed for the weekend after midsummer - they offered to book a stay at hotel Astor for me, to the initially agreed upon price.
Check-in went well, parking costs 5€ per 24 hours for the Theater Parking Garage the Hotel is cooperating with. The beds are comfy, the pillows are too soft for my liking (brought my own, so wasn't an issue). Towels and soap / body wash are included. The rotary phone is not actually a rotary phone. Air cooler available (not an AC). Lots of stuff for breakfast, but signage could be better (mention whether there is lactose in it or not). The bar menu lists plenty of drinks and also food, but when I tried to order meatballs at 23:30 on my arrival day, I got told that the restaurant is closed (the restaurant/bar is open until 0:30 every day and the menu doesn't say anything about closing time for the food portion of the bar / restaurant). I ordered an aperol spritz which took 10 minutes to make. WiFi is fast.

We had a wonderful 2 room suite for myself, husband, and son. Room was perfect. Buffet breakfast was amazing.

Beautiful building and good location.
Customer service was not so good on the first day. I had two heavy bags and the person at the reception did not help or offer to carry one of them as she walked me to my room through many stairs.
Room was not cleaned well. There was food from previous guest in the fridge, they did not wash the two glasses I used on the first day, and floor was dusty.
There was no bathrobe in the room even though it was listed in the website with the room details.
I did get one hour later check out without having to pay for it so that was nice.
Breakfast was ok, but would have been nice to have waffels or fresh baked cake gluten free. Its easy to make the dough gluten free and then it would suit everyone.
