Lapland Hotels Arena in Tampere

Lovely hotel with great Lapland theme. The ambiance truly made us feel like we were stepping into a northern home, warm and culturally rooted. The wooden reindeers, fur details, soft lighting, and the background videos and music all enhanced the immersive experience and made the stay feel unique and authentic.

The room was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable for me, although it had a slightly unusual structure that dips in the middle, which made it harder for my partner to sleep well. The towels were freshly washed—personally, I could detect vinegar scent. The pine-scented soap was lovely, refreshing, and very fitting for the Lapland atmosphere.

Breakfast was wonderful! Highly recommend trying the omelette, freshly cooked by the chef—you can request your preferred ingredients, including smoked salmon and reindeer. It was so creamy and lovely. Blood reindeer sausage sounded very exotic, but it tastes good. Love the smoothies and the oat porridge with many varieties of spreads.

The breakfast service was also excellent. The staff were very attentive, offering tea and coffee, and continuously clearing empty plates so we could enjoy our meal comfortably.

We received a €10 voucher to use at the hotel store, and we used it to try their rooibos tea.

Overall it was such a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

The sauna is great. The room is of course great. The breakfast service is great as well.

I arrived at Tampere in a winter night at 4 a.m. with around -5 degrees Celsius and I was happy this hotel had a room for a walk-in stay (they have many rooms, by the way). Staff was very kind and helpful (even at this late hour), the room was brilliant and modern and the checkout time was late at noon so I could really relax before starting the next part of my trip.

Also located very central to the bus terminal, and in the morning, there were restaurants and shops around the hotel.

Hostel Kofi Cafe stayed for six(6) days. During the Autumn period, the town can have a substantial influx of tourist curiou ti do adventure night tours of the upper regions and hope to see the "northern lights".

Hotel reception was hard to find. You don't see the big sign's about the hotel. Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was really good. Elevators was a little bit tricky and slowly to use..even though there was three elevators.. overall it was a good experience! Worth to spend a weekend in there and explore Tampere. Please try the rooftop saunas, it's free😉

Delicious breakfast. Expensive but worthy

I stayed in quite a number of hotels over the past couple of years and must say, this was definitely a special stay. The Nordic ambiance and vibes are wonderfully embedded in the hotel. The rooms are modern, spacious, and comfortable. The rooftop sauna is pretty cool and very well maintained. The staff are amazing—everyone from reception to restaurant staff to housekeeping made me feel welcome and happy with my stay. I would definitely recommend and come back myself :)

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel located inside the Nokia Arena in Tampere! The unique location within the ice hockey stadium is a definite highlight, and the modern spaces and stunning views make it even better.

The room was spotless, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and offered a very comfortable stay. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Breakfast was the highlight: it’s super complete with a wide variety of options, and I highly recommend trying the omelet with reindeer—a delicious taste of Lapland. Also, they have a very nice sauna on the rooftop - perfect after a long business day.

While the hotel doesn’t have its own gym, they’ve partnered with a brand-new facility just five minutes away. It’s very convenient, as you can pick up an access card and a lock from the reception.

This hotel combines great amenities, excellent service, and a unique location. I would recommend it 100%!

A very nice hotel attached to the Nokia Arena. Very clean and comfy rooms. One very small niggle. Service speed in the bar/restaurant was a little slow. All staff from reception to restaurant to room cleaners were very polite and professional.
