Most friendly staff we’ve met so far in a hotel. Great location, close to everything. Very comfy bed with superb view.

Right middle of the town. Good location! Drinking water from the tap in the bedroom so cold and fresh. Best drinking water in the world as they say and it’s true. I would recommend this hotel and will go back.

The location would be very good but there are MAJOR roadworks happening which is why the price was probably lower than usual. Not the hotels fault of course but it did have an impact. Decent hotel in the close proximity of Tampere city center. Rooms fairly small but generally good quality. Very basic breakfast and slightly crowded. The variety of food at breakfast is very limited. Do not touch the scrambled eggs, it is more like salty oatmeal porridge.

Hostel Kofi Cafe stayed for six(6) days. During the Autumn period, the town can have a substantial influx of tourist curiou ti do adventure night tours of the upper regions and hope to see the "northern lights". Not available when I was present.

Hotel reception was hard to find. You don't see the big sign's about the hotel. Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was really good. Elevators was a little bit tricky and slowly to use..even though there was three elevators.. overall it was a good experience! Worth to spend a weekend in there and explore Tampere. Stayed there for one night. Standard Room With 1 King Bed. A few dusts on the bed, some dirts on the duvet cover, the curtains and sofa chairs. excellent location with decent services

You don't find such a nice Courtyard very often, I was surprised on how nice this hotel was. Only drawback is that policy where they only clean rooms every third day, you expect a nice and clean room each night when staying at a hotel.

It will be better if the hotel can provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Otherwise it is a nice hotel to stay.

I don’t know how to inform about this to google, but Marriotts own site says they’re actually a 4-star hotel. Google says its only a 3-star hotel.

Check-in process very slow, long line and agent just chatting with customers… Oldish building, needs a facelift. Reserved ‘a room with view’ - no view, absolute waste of money.

The lighting lamps for reading a book in bed was too low. If you change the lamps to led lambs the luxes (amount of lighting) will be higher and they do not need so much currrent, which means that they are cheaper to use.

Rooms need updates and therefore only 3 stars. Breakfast is what you expect in these 3 star hotels, it gets its job done. Location wise it is ok for the price you pay. My room was on second floor and sound insulation towards street was not good enough. Staff was very nice and attentive.

As Italians our stay was spoiled by no espresso coffee being available at breakfast, the watery kahvi doesn’t really qualify as coffee for people from southern Europe. The facility was very clean and the breakfast was delicious with local food. It was also within walking distance to the central station.

Stayed a week for a business trip. Nice sauna and decent vegan breakfast options. Breakfast can be a bit busy at times. The walk to the next tram station is a few minutes uphill. Would stay again next time I'm in Tampere. My only complaint would be that the doors close very loudly and you can hear pretty much every door on the floor.

The staff there are so lovely and helpful. But it was quite stressful not being familiar with Tampere, and not being able to stop right in front of the hotel to bring the bags down. Perfect lication for transit. Right next to the entral train station and also airport bus stop. So was ideal for us. The room and the bed were OK. Hotel has sauna, however, we did not have time to attend. As we were leaving during the night to catch early morning flight we received a breakfast for takeaway.

Sokos hotel villa is located next to Tampere railwaystation. This 6-floor hotel is quite modern, it has been built on an old grain warehouse. Service was nice again, breakfast ok, but served in another building. Spacious room, this time for solo traveller. I stayed in room on the 6th floor, There were very little window which not possible totally cover with venetian blind.

The hotel is at the "wrong side" of the now ongoing (summer 2025) train track work. The location is great; turn right from the train station and it's a 5-minute walk. However, if you're traveling with luggage, I recommend walking along the street, as the inner park is covered in gravel and broken wheels. The hotel is in a great location, in the middle of Tampere. The curtains in the room could not be closed completely, which was a bit of a nuisance for me. My room happened to be facing the courtyard, so the view from the room was of the wall of the same building. But that was just bad luck. The breakfast was good and varied. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try the sauna.
