Hiisi Hotel Turku Seaport in Turku

I just finished a delightful 2-night stay here. It was delightful because everything was as advertised and was appropriate to the modest price of 66€ per night.
The vibe I get is of a company trying to fill a gap in the low-cost market, and doing so with style and grace. It is a work in progress, with some services, such as luggage storage, not yet available. But as it stands now, it meets all of my basic needs: good wifi, coffee available, en-suite facilities, etc. The off-site staff was very helpful by email.
City bus to downtown and the airport stops practically at the door. You can pay with contactless credit or debit card so no worrying about tickets, rider apps, etc.
It's not fancy, but they do not advertise fancy. The price is very attractive and completely appropriate to the product.

Good distance to ferry! Nice and quiet atmosphere.

Nice and comfortable hotel in very good location. Do it yourself check-in and out. Dishes, microwave ovens and water/coffee cookers available. Some restaurants in the area - Asian style Harboue Restaurant much recommended! Plenty of parking places. Our future Turku home when we visit to place, maybe also Yours?

In a city where accommodation is routinely expensive, Hiisi Hotel Turku Seaport is a relief. It is able to offer the prices it does by having no staff (other than housekeeping). And even with housekeeping there is no servicing of your room during your stay.

There are a couple of microwaves and a kettle in the “kitchen” which was handy.

For the ridiculously low price, i heartily recommend this no-contact hotel if you have a morning ferry to catch. Clean, functional, spacious rooms. No fuss, get in and get out. Nothing fancy, but everything needed for a pit-stop is provided.

good deal. 66€/night. to wait morning ferry. Breakfast not included.

pros:
- near the ferry terminal(20 meters between buildinds)
- no car noise at night. some diesel sound in far, not more
- room was big, includes fridge(tiny), shower in toilet

cons:
- check-in was weird, because in the instruction they say "use pin code to open the entrance, get a room key, and return the room key. But in info sent to me, this sequence of digits, was not named as pin code. It had different name. In same time i got an email from a booking service, includes pin code(not from the entrance). Attempts to open the entrance failed. Luckily some person open the entrance (to go outside, and after that i could initiate the check-in through some employee+personal call to "reception" phone number.

- check-out recommendations was sent to me after my check-out. i had a morning ferry.

- the bed is 195cm or so. For me 210cm could be better otherwise the feet on the edge.

- the toilet does not have the assshower, and to use the common shower as replacement is little bit tricky.

The Hotel Seaport is nothing fancy for sure, but it gets the job done and it is in a very nice location - within walking distance to the castle and cruise terminal. The rooms are standard for EU sizes, and the breakfast isn't huge but it has everything you need. For the money I can't recommend a better hotel in Turku.
