Don't know what's so "budget" and "easy" about paying 250€ for a hotel room that was occupied by a homeless squatter. I had to sleep at Okas that night! However the sloppy I got gets a 5/5.

A lovely spot to stay in Porvoo. The staff were so lovely and found a place for my bike inside the building. The breakfast was amazing and the sauna was excellent.

One day visit
Quite nice and straightforward visit with all the necessities. Breakfast just fine; porridge, bread and also some vegetarian options. Didnt check gluten free options. Nice room, no disturbances and everything worked smoothly. Close to Porvoo old town, around 15min walk.

Nice and quiet area, good staff and easy to check-in and out. The building is a bit old though, but still in a decent condition generally.

Good value for money
Room was basic, but clean. Very good breakfast was already in the fridge and room had kettle, coffee and tea.
I really enjoyed the self service sauna. Hotel was quiet and service friendly. Good value

A bit (3km) off the old Porvoo, this hotel is a nice, relaxed hideaway. I was first sceptical how it would be, but I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent - I even got help cleaning a chocolate stain from our car seat.
Hotel offer two saunas; one traditional and one infra-red. You just have to remember to warm them yourself, which is just push of a button.
Rooms were fairly neat, but nothing special really. Beds were more comfortable than in many other budget priced hotels and shower was pleasant. View from our room was ok, very calm overseeing some houses and parks. There are playgrounds nearby.
Breakfast was typical Finnish hotel setup, but we enjoyed it all, especially warm bread felt kind of luxurious.
Overall, it was a good stay and I would recommend this place for anyone who prefers a calm surrounding.

The rooms are nice and clean, fairly large. WiFi connection worked quite well, with no issues. The room also had a free instant coffee + tea packets and a kettle ! Friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful breakfast ! There is also a sauna and public room with microwave, kettle and fridge, free to use !

Not so positive:

The location is quite a bit away from Porvoo, so you need to walk, but considering the beautiful Porvoo and surroundings, it's a joy. I also was quite confused about check-in process, as the door was closed when I've arrived, thankfully someone opened that for me in a few minutes.

Excellent value! This hotel might be a former rest home for old people but it was spotless clean and quite close (15 mins walk) to the Porvoo old town. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and the breakfast delivered to the room was nice. I wouldn’t choose this for a romantic getaway but for a quiet place to crash for a night or two this place provides excellent value.
