Les Jardins de Cassis - Parking Jacuzzi Piscine Chauffée in Cassis

We cannot recommend the place at all:

First, the place has a pool, however it does NOT provide pool towels for their guests but instead offers you to buy them for 15€. What?! Who brings their towels on a vacation?
I have never experienced anything like that in any hotel I have stayed at. This feels like a cheap way to save some money on the hotel‘s side.

Secondly, literally everything is worn off in this hotel to a point where it is unbearable. Most appliances are broken or damaged, there are holes in the bathroom wall and it looks cheaply patched up.
It is also dirty wherever you look. Corners, inside the cabinet in the room or under the sink. There is sand dust and in our case even toe nails from the previous guest. The bed sheets are having stains as well.
There are even cobwebs all around the outdoor pool shower. Half of the sun umbrellas are broken and barely hanging on in a weird angle which does not look safe if the next wind is coming.
The pool is dirty with insects and leaves all over the surface and floor (which absolutely can happen in the south in summer), however for half a day we have not seen anyone from the staff cleaning it, which takes just a few minutes, but does all the difference.
The whole hotel does need a overhaul and just feels very cheap and dirty and a bit sketchy.

The staff varies big time. The guy who greeted us at reception just marked a few restaurants on a map without further explanation and didn’t make us feel welcomed to a vacation destination. Not a nice first impression.
The other receptionist was very attentive and cleaned our room again after we complained and deeply apologised as the situation was uncomfortable for her as well.

At night there are parties and loud shouting all over the hallways making it almost impossible to sleep.

Overall don’t go here unless you make a steal for 50€ a night and don’t stay longer than one night max. Oh and don’t forget to bring your own towels…
