Hôtel des Mimosas in Juan-les-Pins

This was my second year running at this hotel and I l loved every minute.
The grounds are beautiful, it has a lovely pool, pool bar serving snack meals and drinks.
Breakfast is excellent.
The rooms vary and are unique depending on where you are in the house, the facilities are all there. On my two occasions I have had a quiet room that was ideal for me.
People return year after year and I can see why.
It is so clean and well kept.
I would recommend it to anyone.

Charming traditional hotel with beautiful pool and gardens. A very tranquil and peaceful place to spend a holiday. The complete opposite to many dull and soulless modern hotels. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Myself and my partner stayed for 6 nights at the end of June, and honestly this hotel was perfect for us. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the terrace rooms which had a great view of the pool, and the room was neat and tidy.
Pool area also great, as well as location (close walk to beach, Juan-Les-Pins and Antibes).
Would definitely recommend this place!

Great hotel with air conditioning that was important during the summer 2023 heatwave! Rooms are a little dated but adequate and we had our own private balcony that we loved and used to eat our breakfast each morning, lovely. The shower water pressure was a little problematic, the hotel should invest in an overhead waterfall shower so the water pressure issue doesn’t matter. The pool was really nice, the property was well manicured and plenty of free parking which was awesome. The two best factors about this place, other than it’s French Riviera charm, is it’s location to the beach and the price. Great price for the stay and location. Service was perfect!

We had a great time staying for 3 nights in Hotel des Mimosas. The hotel is 7 mins walk to the beach and the swiming pool was a real charm. The staff spoke good English and was extremely helpful in helping with events/dinner recommendations. Would love to visit again soon!

Loved the special touch of this hotel. Its garden and pool and the genuinely affectionate staff make me want to go back again! The room was a single which had enough room to place your luggage. The bathroom is also very nice with a marble finish.

Located just a 7 minute walk from the beaches and center of town.

My only concern was that the wifi was slow, but it worked.

We had a lovely week at the Mimosas. The pool area is perfect. Apart from the childish behaviour of a few residents insisting on placing towels on sun beds before the sun is even up. Then not even using the lounger till later in the day! Never fails to make me smile and boil my blood at the same time. There were a few poolside rules, maybe this should be one of them.
But apart from that we found the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and decor very individual and classy.
They let us leave our bags there after we checked out at 11am as we had to leave for the airport at 5pm. We sat by the pool all day and were offered a changing room to get out of our Wet swimwear. Much appreciated.
We were fortunate to have a terraced bedroom so made the most of it and the fridge in the room to buy in some wine and water.
We were also fortunate to be there on the week of the Juan Jazz week. We e dead up sitting on the beach every night at the back of the stage listening to Tom Jones and Sting for free. Result!
We wished we'd have sorted the bus routes out earlier on in the week. We found the number 1 bus very handy to get to Antibes for just 1€. Although we did have to walk the half hour back from Antibes late at night.
Antibes is a great night out and found the Gravette beach a real pleasure. And it was free. Pretty much all the beaches at Juan les Pins were private with fees of 19€ or so for a lounger. There is a free public beach on the right hand side, not far from the hotel, which was fine but packed at this time of the year.
All in all one of the best holidays we've had and would recommend the hotel and area for a holiday. But I suppose it depends on what you want from a holiday ;)
