Despite looking quite attractive from the outside, I found the interior spaces and rooms quite depressing, old-fashioned and in some cases rather poorly cared for. The place feels somewhat tired and in need of a major refurbishment in my opinion. My room in particular, although spacious, was poorly maintained with numerous scuff marks on the walls. The bathroom only had a hand-held shower in the bath itself which is most unusual in a supposedly four star establishment. There were also too few electric sockets by modern standards. While my room had an antiquated room safe, the 9 step instructions for operating it were incomprehensible. The reception did not operate 24/7 as I would have expected and the breakfast service was adequate but nothing special (please fix the chipped and damaged chiller cabinets - it's not a good look!). I found the internal signage and lighting were very poor and the corridor leading to my room (no 29) was so dark as to be dangerous which meant that I needed to use the torch on my phone in order to open and lock my room door. On a more positive note, the staff were friendly enough, there was free car parking just outside and the hotel itself is very centrally located. On balance, I am unlikely to go back any time soon.

I'm a frequent guest at this hotel, and it's incredible. Every year I leave feeling relaxed and smiling! The rooms are charming, and the various teams are always attentive. Everything is close at hand, it's a pleasure. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you give me, and I hope to see you soon. I highly recommend this hotel, which is perfect in every way.

A lovely, quiet haven in the city center. We loved the unique decor and the professional staff. The room service was top-notch... I highly recommend the chocolate cake! During my stay, the salt pack facial provided a wonderful hour of relaxation. And the heated indoor pool allowed me to relax while my son enjoyed the water. In short, we'll be back in a heartbeat.

Great experience! It was our first time at La vila de la mar and we really enjoyed every moment. The pool area is beautiful, our triple room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the quality of it all. Many thanks and hopefully we will see you again soon

This place was really beautifully decorated and close to everything. The Sevice was good. However there was a rancid smell in our room that the people in reception did not take seriously. I guess they thought us to be smelly Americans. I think there was an issue with their sewage line or something. I hope they get it fixed.

This is a very Nice authentic hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, ours had a nice terrace. Its a Small hotel with a pool, walking distance from the town of Saintes maries Centre with its restaurants and 5min from Boho Beach. There is parking available outside.

Great location, welcoming staff, very peaceful. nice room and very good a/c. I recommend the breakfast ; great selection of product, healthy, nice feeling early in the morning, good playlist. Congrats to the team. One thing to improve is to clean around the swimming pool every day with water to take out the sand and dust.
