Le Vallon de Valrugues Hotel Spa & Villas, St. Remy-de-Provence1 / 30
8.6
St. Remy-de-Provence, 9 Chemin Canto Cigalo 🧭 Map
Hot water was limited and shower did not properly drain leading to bathroom flooding.
Beautiful property, small and good service. We stayed in a rosemary suite which was spacious and relatively well furnished. They are situated next to the kids play area so lots of screaming and noise for those wanting quiet! They also allow dogs in all areas which can result in a lot of incessant barking! Overall a beautiful property but would have preferred out of season for a more adult experience...
Gorgeous hotel stay in a beautiful area and town nearby. Loved it. Pool was lovely, suite was fantastic, lots of catering for kids too (eg trampoline, pool table etc). Shuttle to and from town really convenient. Would definitely stay again.
Best hotel in Provence! We stayed at a villa and loved our experience.
Staff were generally very attentive and helpful. Beautiful grounds. Rooms were clean, spacious and had quality products. The restaurant/bistro has excellent food though we wished they would have more choices on the menu. The only disappointment was breakfast - limited choices for an “hot breakfast” and the quality of the breakfast items was lacking. Indoor and outdoor pools were well kept.
Overall very nice hotel. Had an issue with air conditioning. Had a deluxe room with two air conditioners but only one worked. The front desk lied to us saying only one is supposed to work. Our friends had the same type of room and had two working ones. For the price you pay here you shouldn’t be uncomfortable

Great location, very friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful to guests. We booked a suite which was just the right size. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, service and staff were beyond excellent!
Our stay was absolutely incredible — truly a 20 out of 10! The location couldn’t have been more perfect, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was hearty with a great variety of options to start the day right. Most importantly, the staff were amazing — friendly, attentive, and went above...
We loved staying at this elegant and welcoming hotel and really enjoyed being able to walk into town for dinner and to experience the wonderful Wednesday market. The staff here is warm and helpful, the breakfast (included) was delicious and served in a lovely room. The town is very special and this hotel is a wonderful place to stay to experience the area. We found our room a bit small for the two...
Everything about our stay was perfect. Hotel was actually more beautiful that the pictures. Staff was so accommodating and avaliable. Breakfast was a delight. Location is perfect.
There couldn't be a better location for a stay in St. Remy or as a jumping off point to explore Provence and the Camargue. The hotel is at once beautifully appointed and comfortable, elegant and homey. Hands down the best staff at any hotel I've ever stayed at. To a one, they were professional and warm, never missed an opportunity to say bonjour or to ask how they could help. They were very knowledgeable...
Perfect central location with chargeable parking, hotel facility’s quite small so the bar area was lacking in atmosphere and the restaurant more akin to breakfast. The terrace out the back was really nice but off season was cold so you could only sit in a brightly light side room next to the bar, two double GnT costing £79 euro was a disappointment as was the roof bar being closed all the time. We...

Had to enquire and amend my reservation due to a family emergency. Communication throughout was prompt, professional and helpful. Truly evidence of a well run hotelier.
This gem is worth a visit while touring the countryside, especially for fans of Vincent Van Gogh, whose significant spots are nearby. The cuisine at dinner is delicious, and the breakfasts are sumptuous. The staff are top notch and our room was delightful.
What can I say the hotel is excellent, 10 out of 10 - The staff , the standard of accommodation and quality of food is excellent- we stayed for 4 nights and it was the highlight of our 3 week stay in France - the entire staff were brilliant - Vald was amazing and Mathilde in reception was a real pro ! we stayed in Cote Sud - a recently refurbished apartment close to the main house - amazing spec and...
Truly magical. The setting is out of a storybook or out of a Van Gogh painting. Everything the about the place exudes warmth and elegance- and staying here is a truly unforgettable experience. The dining room, the bar, everything about the hotel is first rate. Vlad was a terrific host/ concierge. I have recommended and would continue to recommend this hotel for anyone looking for the best in Saint...
Come for the ambiance. The food was good, and while the manager was extremely rude, the rest of the staff provided lovely service.
We couldn’t recommend Le Château des Alpilles more! Our stay was perfect. While we loved exploring the charming town of St. Rémy, the beauty and tranquility of the château made it hard to leave the grounds. Every part of the grounds feels like something out of a dream, from the tree-lined entry to the elegant interiors in the castle. Make sure to make reservations for dinner - the food was exceptional...

Avignon, 4 Place De L Amirande 🧭 Map
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The most gorgeous decor and lovely staff.
How we loved our stay at the beautifully elegant & well positioned hotel La Mirande. Our room was spacious & gorgeous; every public area exquisitely tasteful. We had been looking forward to staying in the historical town of Avignon, it was great to be so close to the Palais des Papes, museums, art galleries & all the fantastic bistros in the winding side streets. The staff were lovely, happy to chat...
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Mirande. We received amazing, over the top service. When we could not figure out how to drive the to the hotel, we parked outside the city and ubered in. The next day the valet went and retrieved our car for us and parked it at the hotel. We arrived later in the night a little frustrated and hungry and all the restaurants were closed. The front desk reception...
A Charming Stay at a Truly Historic Gem Hôtel La Mirande is an unforgettable place—steeped in history, elegantly preserved, and full of character. While our room wasn't one of the signature ones with soaring ceilings or a canopy bed, it was still very nice: spacious, well-appointed, and full of thoughtful details that made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is...
In the middle of the old town, beautiful building right across the street from the Popes Palace. Beautiful very unique room and amazing surface. Extremely difficult to drive to the hotel with all the old town narrow Street €25 for valet parking.
This hotel is very special. The rooms are decorated exquisitely and in keeping with the historical period. However the air conditioning was not working in my room the first two nights and there wasn’t another room available so sleeping was uncomfortable. The third day the electricity went out completely and I was moved to a much smaller room for the final night. Upon checking out no adjustment was...

Fanatic locations and excellent service from staff
Happy to stay there, amazing place but breakfast abit overpriced
At Hotel d’Europe, you quickly realize the hype is absolutely deserved. The restaurant delivers an upscale yet approachable dining experience, where refinement never overshadows warmth. The atmosphere is elegant and historic, but never stiff — it feels like the perfect setting for a special meal that’s still inviting and comfortable. The cooking is precise and thoughtful, with dishes that showcase...
Absolutely perfect 🤩 A place with a fabulous history (Napoleon, Hugo, Hemingway, Piaf…) and heritage a few steps away from the Popes Castle of Avignon. The gastronomic restaurant is a must go to enjoy one of the most refined cuisine in town!! The private and quiet courtyard under the trees is a true gift in the heart of summer, charmed by the delicate sound of the fountain. Some well deserved refreshing...
This hotel was built in the 1600s and has a beautiful, welcoming courtyard and offered us excellent service at the front desk and from the valets. We had a superior room, which opened to a quaint courtyard and balcony with seating area. At night we had drinks in the common area but didn’t not try any of the food options. Air conditioning was superb and provided a respite from the warm Provençal sun...
Classic and cosy traditional hotel with a soul. Great amd convenient location just inside the city walls, attentive and friendly staff, a beautiful suite with terrace. Perfect.

Jules César Hotel & Spa Arles - MGallery Collection, Arles1 / 30Good price
8.6
Arles, 9 Boulevard Des Lices 🧭 Map
Hôtel & Spa Jules César is the best of the best in Arles. It's iconic, sophisticated and very comfortable! It blends the calm of a former monastery with Christian Lacroix’s bold, colourful style, mixing history with modern comfort in a way that feels effortless. Art and design sit naturally alongside warmth and relaxation, and everywhere you go, you feel the spirit of Arles. From the historic buildings...
My wife and I were on holiday and traveling with a friend who was solo. Our friend was given an upgraded room and we were shown to a handicap accessible room without being asked if this was. I am 188cm tall. My wife is tall for a woman. Everything in the room was too low. The makeup mirror was at navel level for my wife (as an example). The shower had no door so water went everywhere. Overall, we were...
This is a quaint and stylish hotel. It's well worth staying at. It's also close to the city center.
Hotel is very nice, interesting design changing between rooms, very good restaurant, and very friendly staff. Swimming pool is very nice, especially when not too busy ! Rooms are very comfortable, however, few details could be updated to keep to the new standards. Hotel is very close to the old city center, few steps to reach by foot.
The hotel was great overall, good location, spacious. However, it is quite old, and there was one night where the whole hotel stopped water supply from 10pm onwards. It was a bit inconvenient.
Enjoyable stay in a great location. All staff were very helpful. Room was on the small side. The most annoying thing about this hotel is they provideed a mini fridge with 1 still water, 1 sparkling, and a couple of juices. This was never refilled which was disappointing. In every other hotel we stayed in France still drinking water was replenished every day.

Nimes, 3 rue Gaston Maruejols 🧭 Map
Not only is the property very beautiful but more importantly the staff are excellent. They were very helpful in dealing with some issues in the booking and so very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in or near Nimes.
We stayed just one night here en route to Paris. I wish we had had a few more days to enjoy this unique space. The hotel is beautiful, and the garden is indeed an exceptional space right in the middle of the city. We took a dip in the pool and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. They really make your stay personal and exceptional. We've stayed in hotels at double the cost, and they fail by comparison in value...
The hotel was spectacular and the service more than excelent and the owners very charming. My family loved it.
I’m absolutely in love with this place. This hotel has a soul — full of charm, elegance, and character. Every corner tells a story, with thoughtfully curated antiques and refined taste. I must have taken hundreds of photos — the details are simply mesmerizing. It’s a true embodiment of the French spirit, authentic and full of atmosphere. A magical experience. Highly, highly recommend.
A spectacularly beautiful establishment full of charm and curated antiques. We loved our stay at Jardins Secrets, it is indeed a unique and special place for pure relaxation at the heart of Nîmes. We are a family of four with a little doggie and initially booked the family room but the charming Victoria who greeted us at reception advised that since we had 2 adult daughters it would be more comfortable...
Absolutely deserves the 5 stars. Unique boutique hotel with a personal approach and massive attention to detail. It is history made modern and comfortable. The rooms are large and spacious, and every common area is an art. Yes, many items are everywhere so that it can be challenging with kids. The staff is accommodating and polite, and at the same time, they are natural and casual. Victoria is the...

Our superior room was simply beautiful, spacious with its high ceilings, luxurious through the beautiful materials and lovely smelling, not to mention the spacious terrasse overlooking the pond.Discrete and professional staff, great food.
Beautiful premises, one night was not enough to enjoy everything. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a lovely view over the marsh.
