Here for a one night stay, nice hotel but little bit old, the location is good.

Bedroom layout. Including a sofa meant bed was too close to bathroom doors. Having a separate toilet, means you have to walk round to wash hands. Bath very slippery. Access & egress could be dangerous for the less agile. No continental breakfast is worth 19Euro. On the positive, the room had a coffee machine and kettle. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The only thing missing is the 3rd bed in the suite, which is a sofa, which isn't comfortable for the price of the room. It should really be a 3-bed room.

2 nights in La Rochelle after a break of many year 2 nights in La Rochelle after a long gap. So glad we came back and so so glad we decided to stay here. What a fabulous sudden gem in La Rochelle. Never mind 5* recommendation, I give it a 10*. Perfect in every way!!

Great hotel with pleasant lobby and bar. The location is near le port so no need for a car once you are settled in in your hotel. You can visit the city by foot.

Key to our stay was the provision of secure parking. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were particularly helpful. Albeit the rooms were well kitted out, we did find the toilet quite cramped. English tea would be useful along with some fresh milk for the rooms, may be a small fridge would assist. We would most definitely stay upon our next visit.

Lovely hotel in perfect central old port location. We stayed 2 nights in early October - suspect pool will be lovely in summer. To get to front of hotel by car, street bollards need to be lowered (phone hotel). However, a French strike/demonstration made these inactive on our arrival - we parked in the old port underground car park 500m away which is excellent.

It turns out I was charged €15 in taxes. According to the receptionist, this tax is just over €7 per person per day. I understand this isn't the tourist tax, as you stated that it was €5.50 payable at the hotel. It's not about the money, it's about the word.

Really lovely old hotel in a quiet spot just outside La Rochelle’s old town. Everything’s within walking distance, which made it very convenient. Our room on the second floor was big, clean, and comfortable, with a street view. The garden out back is a great place to relax. We didn’t use the spa or restaurant, but the reception staff were helpful throughout our stay.

Very clean but compact toilet and shower. Best deal for the price. Mind that the hotel name is changed to Hotel Eco and there are person at the reception after 9pm. My entry card stopped working on a night after 9pm. When I called them, they asked me to go to the adjacent hotel (hotel comfort). I had to go there to resolver the problem.

From start to finish the stay was great. We arrived early on our bikes and they allowed us early access, and we could store the bikes safely. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfy, and whisper quiet. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town.

3 stars The room was small and felt a bit cramped. Parking was not free, and the spaces were both limited and very tight, which made it hard to park. The hotel was also hard to find, located in an area with narrow streets that made driving tricky. Not the easiest place to stay, but okay if you don’t mind these challenges

The room was clean and comfortable. I booked/arrived late at night due to a cancelled flight. The staff were very welcoming and considerate. A member of staff, (tall, red hair, beard) was very obliging with arranging food and catering for my allergy.

This is a great motel with good facilities in a convenient location. Room is small but well furnished with tea making facilities and a hairdryer. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet despite being close to main routes. Staff were very friendly and the motel is just 10.minutes walk from a shopping centre with several eating places. The location is superb, offering panoramic views of the entire pier from the balcony. There are plenty of restaurants and bars downstairs, very convenient. The hotel staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Thoughtful handwritten notes feel especially genuine and heartwarming in this cold, AI-driven age. Parking is in the underground parking lot, about 300 meters away, which is still quite convenient...

The room was clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable. It faced the canal and had a great view. The only disappointment was that the refrigerator was too hot, so the fruit I bought at the market didn't last very long.

Amazing, absolutely love it, gorgeous and breathtaking area, so traditional and lovely, the sauna is pure and the experience on me felt like God was trying to reach to my soul, it's very sunny and the kids were playing so nicely and innocently. Not great, not terrible. Stayed there for one night. Parking spot can be found on the street. Its around 30 minutes walk to the center, but it is a nice way with good views. Unfortunately, our room had an issue with the shower drain. So showering without flooding the bathroom was impossible... Additionally, it could have been cleaner (dusty bathroom vent, etc).

The fridge however was a welcome bonus, as was the onsite parking. The automatic heating was frustrating and the air conditioning very noisy; but still a plus in the warmer weather.

A quirky, cosy hidden away hotel in the centre of La Rochelle near to the marine and main restaurant eating area. There is no parking facility at the hotel, but there are carparks nearby. It is a dog friendly hotel with simple, small and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.

Super location, great views from our 4th floor window. Bijou but great for two. Friendly service, staff happy to help in English if needed. You do have to find somewhere to park if travelling by car. We used Place de Verdun (17 euro per day).

Room was too warm. It was 37C when we arrived and we needed to cool the room down.We had air-conditioning but it was useless. Both of us barely slept the first night because of the heat and humidity in the room. Would expect a lot better from a fairly expensive hotel. Breakfast room needs to be decorated or a least some decent seating.
