Fabulous location. Extremely comfortable bedroom. Staff are super friendly. Two small dogs with us enjoyed the fuss, too.

It was very nice, excepl from a bad smell coming from the drains in the shower.

I had a wonderful stay at Maison des Ambassadeurs - the staff were all young & willing to help in any way. It was lovely to have robe & slippers to feel comfy after a long day out.

Have stayed here before so know the hotel is in a great position in the old port. Room was on the small side however and would have liked a bath but only a shower available. There was a kettle in the room but no cups (?) and no fridge

It's a sea view room. It's rare to find such powerful air conditioning in a European hotel. The front desk is quite welcoming. The breakfast is a bit simple. Like other European hotels, the room is relatively small.

The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The only thing missing is the 3rd bed in the suite, which is a sofa, which isn't comfortable for the price of the room. It should really be a 3-bed room.

Great hotel with pleasant lobby and bar. The location is near le port so no need for a car once you are settled in in your hotel. You can visit the city by foot.

Key to our stay was the provision of secure parking. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were particularly helpful. Albeit the rooms were well kitted out, we did find the toilet quite cramped. English tea would be useful along with some fresh milk for the rooms, may be a small fridge would assist. We would most definitely stay upon our next visit.

Small but Nice We loved the location of the hotel and it the room was very clean and nice but it was small, especially the bathroom. It was adequate for 1 night but longer we would have felt very cramped. Otherwise it is a good hotel with a great location. The breakfast was good too.

Lovely hotel in perfect central old port location. We stayed 2 nights in early October - suspect pool will be lovely in summer. To get to front of hotel by car, street bollards need to be lowered (phone hotel). However, a French strike/demonstration made these inactive on our arrival - we parked in the old port underground car park 500m away which is excellent.

Centrally located and stylish. Our bedroom was smart and well appointed. Unfortunately there was no parking available but the public parking is cheap and close by. Hope to return to La Rochelle sometime and would definitely consider booking this hotel again.

Perfect stay with our dog at a very good price. There was a slight unusual smell at first, but it quickly improved after opening the windows. The breakfast was nice, with fresh pastries, fruits, and yogurts. Overall, a great experience and pet-friendly place!

Very clean but compact toilet and shower. Best deal for the price. Mind that the hotel name is changed to Hotel Eco and there are person at the reception after 9pm. My entry card stopped working on a night after 9pm. When I called them, they asked me to go to the adjacent hotel (hotel comfort). I had to go there to resolver the problem.

A historic building totally refurbished as a hotel in a great location to explore La Rochelle. Very comfortable and tranquil room. Walk out of the hotel, turn left and within a block you are walking by shops and cafes.

We stayed for our son’s wedding. We were treated like family and I’ll never forget the amazing stay we had in La Rochelle. The staff never had to be asked for anything. They moved about so quietly and efficiently that you weren’t even sure who did what, but you wanted for nothing. Truly amazing place. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don’t hesitate!

During our short 2 night stay, we found the hotel to be beautifully appointed and staffed by courteous and friendly personnel. The hotel is a short walking distance to the major sites and conveniently located near the bus transit stop servicing the entire city. I would recommend this establishment to other travelers who are staying in La Rochelle.

When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the location, close enough to walk but not right in the centre so away from the hustle and bustle, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was basic but very clean overall I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend

A gem in a beautiful toen This hotel is an old factory that has been converted into a stunning hotel. The room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The location could not have been better, two minutes walk from the many restaurants and bars. Wonderful.

La Fabrique is well situated in La Rochelle with many dining and sightseeing options a stones throw away, and walkable to the Encan conference facility. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful. Our only issue was a leaky AC unit that dripped constantly and which was apparently not fixable by the staff. A reasonable price for the great location.

I really enjoyed my 7-night stay in this hotel in early September. It is deally located in terms of accessibility to the 1b airport bus stop, the Old Port, nice shops/restaurants and the most important sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful e.g. when I sought advice re my trip to Île de Ré. The breakfast was delicious and well supervised.

Just what I needed for a coupe of nights. Comfortable bed, clean room. Right in the centre of the town. 2 minutes from the bus station where you can get a cheap bus from and to the airport.

The rooms are extremely simple and small. Breakfast is sparse. The air conditioning in our room wasn't working, so they moved us at 9:30 p.m. I won't be returning to this hotel.

Les Brises is about one kilometre westwards on the coastal path from the main beach in La Rochelle. So be aware that you’re going to have a “walking” holiday if you wanted to visit the old town or the marina. The staff are lovely, the rooms are very clean, the terrace for breakfast is fantastic on a sunny morning which we had, there is an indoor room too. Really lovely hotel just off the main road into La Rochelle. It is on the seaside and the seaside room was very nice with an unobstructed view. Rooms are very small but it was enough for one nights stay. The service was great and breakfast was well priced. I would recommend it as the location was quiet and close enough to the main town to drive in or take a nice stroll along the seaside.

Fabulous quiet location. It’s a 20 minute walk to the old town, but it’s a lovely walk. Friendly helpful staff. Very good breakfast. We had a second floor room, nice balcony with a bay view. Great sun deck below. There are rental bicycles just 300 m away. An excellent 2 nights stay, should have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

This hôtel is on the ocean front, calm neighborhood . We were on 3rd floor with balcony. Awesome view & sunset. Very clean, modern. Staff very pleasant & very helpful. Walking distance to the port area about 30 minutes. We were a bit disappointed in the petit dejeuner for 13 euros. Merci !

All good except parking . No security parking left when we were there and the few spaces outside this but in the grounds where not managed and cars were parked badly. 2 extra cars should have been able to have been parked! Surely there should be in total the number of the rooms?

Handy for the motorway and only and La Rocelle Excellent as always. This is our third stay and will be happy to stay again.

Good price, not to far beach-boats, correct Room and Good Service. For few days at La Rochelle, it is good hôtel.

Stuff is excellent, Room is great, bed is confortable, bathroom is correct ! Only problem i noticed is the noise you hear then cars are passing by on the big road. Everything important is located less than 10 min away by car.

The room was clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable. It faced the canal and had a great view. The only disappointment was that the refrigerator was too hot, so the fruit I bought at the market didn't last very long.

We've had a really pleasant stay. Service was impeccable and when they learned that my gf is gluten intolerant, they organized gluten free bread instead of just offering the crackers you often get in France. The location is amazing as well!

The people here we're lovely and very helpful. The place is a stones throw from the marina and lots of restaurants. Our bed was hard, towel radiator in the bathroom was rusty.

We visited for a week as a family with our 14 yo son. La Rochelle is a great place to bring kids. The hotel is very well placed for the Old Port, restaurants, the beach and other attractions, all very walkable - we visited the Aquarium and the Maritime museum and did the Fort Boyard boat trip. We had the room for 4 with the balcony - which was a bonus, though there is some other outside space too....
