Great Location. Just a short walk to town centre. Decent pool. Good amenities. We had a family room so it was nice to cook some breakfast and an evening snack for the kids. Its not a 5 star hotel with all the bells and whistles but it is reallyfuctional, polite staff, great location and super air conditioning (this was a godsend). Would recommend and will be back!!

I loved our stay here, we stayed for two weeks as a family. I worked remotely for the first week and bought a portable WiFi device with me as I wasn't sure how strong the apartment WiFi would be, when doing video calls etc. Their WiFi is ok but not reliable enough to work for a long period of time. The apartment was clean and large, we had a balcony overlooking the car park, was lovely to have some outside space. Apartment was well equipped with clothes airer on the balcony, basic hand wash and shampoo/body wash in the bathroom. Kitchen stocked for 4 people. There are no starter packs here, so one roll of toilet roll provided, no kitchen bits like kitchen roll, washing up liquids, dishwasher tabs but there is a Carrefour supermarket less than 5 mins walk where you could get everything. Air con was great to have, pool area was lovely, it can get busy at times in the afternoon but always found spare sun beds. Location is fantastic, 15 mins walks into the centre, or 5 mins walk to the water taxi stop, which takes you across the water to the centre for €1.50 each. The staff were lovely, always happy to help, and really knowledgeable with the local area. The bed was quite hard, but that's personal preference. Would be nice to have had a mini starter kit for the kitchen, such as a roll of kitchen roll, tea towel and small washing up liquid but the apartment was really amazing value for two weeks, so this isn't a moan. The laundry room was really useful, with a washer and drier, would be handy to have the instructions in English too.

Really nice hotel which about 15min walk to the town centre. This is a little shorter when you use the water taxi. La Rochelle is a beautiful town with loads to see and this hotel could be the ideal base for you.

Good size of room with airco and a parking lot that is closed during the night, the pool is nice, but basic....but here starts the negative part.
1. Wifi is absolutely a disaster. It looks like it is stuck in 2007 when this hotel was opened. Max speed of 10Mb when it works, but it is not working well, and looking kn previous reviews where they claim to improve it, nothing happens.
2. There are no electric car chargers, not in the hotel, and not in 10 minutes' drive around the hotel. It also looks like they are stuck in. 2007.
3. 100 Euro charge for a dog!!! What?! For what?! There are no cleaning services in any case... And you need to clean the apartment before you leave.... What dog can do that it's requires 100 euro payment if you clean it in any case?!
4. Breakfast... well, in short, it looks very bad.
5. Bads are very old and making a lot of noise, also from 2007 probably.
6. 300 reserved payment, curious for what....
7. Check in and out hours are very not guest friendly....
8. Area itself, close to university but too many industrial workshops for boats, and a lot of homeless people around sleeping during the night.
In general, there are too many stars to this place (claim is that they have 4), but at then of the stay you need take out your garbage and room in not cleaned during your stay...
In the bottom line, it is very NOT recommended and dont expect that something will be improved.

One week holiday in La Rochelle
The hotel is situated in a quiet area, close to the old port, about 10 mins walk to terasses and restaurants, 20mins walk to the train station. There is a Carrefour 5 mins walk from the hotel which was handy. The apartment was very clean, AC was great as we went to La Rochelle right in the middle of the heatwave.We did have to buy consumables (shower gel, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets) but we knew that already before arrival. The kitchen is well equipped for a holiday, most days we had breakfast in the room. Pool is not too big but we always found empty chairs and could cool down a bit in the afternoon. Would book again next time.

Great location, great A/C, as advertised.
Could do with more towels, as well as a kitchen towel, and kitchen sponge/scrubber as you need to leave the property as you found it.
