Such a huge difference between this Ibis and the one we stayed in at Montparnasse the night before. Clean, spacious room, a/c that worked and friendly staff made for a pleasant overnight stay…tasty breakfast as well!

Spacy room, spacious, comfy and clean. The 2nd floor was very quiet. Highly recommend. Only downside, the parking is paid. But you can find free places in the streets very close by.

The staff is great, parking is convenient and cheap. There is no minibar or bottle of water in the room, but there is a kettle. There is no smart TV, wi-fi works poorly.

Comfortable hotel and friendly staff. Good location. Good value for money as a B&B, although I didn't try the breakfast. Great initiative in offering a free drink if the guest doesn't ask for a change of bed sheets. However, there is a lack in room amenities (such as cotton buds and slippers) which I think are essential for short-stay guests.

This is a cheap place. You get what you pay for. Room was clean. Shower wouldn't stay pointing anywhere except at the wall.

When we arrived we first got a room that was absolutely horrible. It smelt like someone had made really smelly food, and the shower head had falled off. We told the reception that this was not acceptable, and they told us they were aware that the room had its challenges. We stayed at this Inis Hotel for a rugby/sightseeing weekend. It’s a stroll from the station but fantastically located next to the bustling market, bars and restaurants. Rooms are compact but have everything you need. There is a seating area downstairs and a good value bar. Staff are super friendly.

I really enjoyed my 7-night stay in this hotel in early September. It is deally located in terms of accessibility to the 1b airport bus stop, the Old Port, nice shops/restaurants and the most important sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful e.g. when I sought advice re my trip to Île de Ré. The breakfast was delicious and well supervised.

Just what I needed for a coupe of nights. Comfortable bed, clean room. Right in the centre of the town. 2 minutes from the bus station where you can get a cheap bus from and to the airport.

The rooms are extremely simple and small. Breakfast is sparse. The air conditioning in our room wasn't working, so they moved us at 9:30 p.m. I won't be returning to this hotel.

Excellently located right at the Marina district and views of the very large Ferris Wheel. 5 mins walk to the central cafe precinct and boutique shopping strips. Pathways are very well lit. The area and wider Le Rochelle is a very safe place. The Motel is close to the Buzz of it all.

Hotel was in a perfect location for central La Rochelle. Room was suitable for what we needed. Hotel front and rooms were dated and in need of some TLC although good value for money and just a base so no issues.

The outside is unimposing but once inside everything is of a good standard. Friendly service, modern lift, well appointed rooms overlooking a city park for a very quiet nights sleep. I ve stayed in a lot of hotels in La Rochelle and ths is my favourite. Simple, clean, modern, dead central, the loveliest, friendliest, most helpful owner and a gorgeous roof terrace over looking a quiet square. Two minutes to anything, without the noise of being on the front. You can pop (2 minutes away) to a 'cave', wine seller, buy a bottle of wine and sit up on the terrace wiling away the evening...

The hotel and room had all that I needed, not to mention the roof deck. What made my short stay memorable was the wonderful welcome from Vanessa and the easy access to the centre and the harbour area. I hope to return for a longer stay another time.

Clean and tidy, but basic. Not a problem though, as that's what you pay for. There are 6 rooms, 1 shared bathroom and 2 toilets.

Very old apartment with a low standard. I only use it while I was sleeping. Good instructions for late check in.

This is a lovely historic building. We had a nice room, clean with a fantastic shower. The rooms are not sound proof so it can be noisy from above and below. We were offered to purchase breakfast, which thankfully we declined. We were told breakfast starts at 7am, we hoped to grab a quick coffee. We left at 7:15 am, there was a que for breakfast and very little was setup, with the area still closed

Charming old hotel in a narrow street near the market, with good breakfast room overviewing the passants and flower marche. Some rooms small and blind with water taking it's time warm on shower. Kind staff and helpfully. Stylish wood endless stairway. Clean and central situated.

Really nice hotel which about 15min walk to the town centre. This is a little shorter when you use the water taxi. La Rochelle is a beautiful town with loads to see and this hotel could be the ideal base for you.

The hotel is very well located, with nice decor and very friendly staff. The only negative thing is that the room had a window to an interior part that overlooked the smoke outlet of several restaurants.
