Nice hotel, BUT... Stayed overnight in one of the suites, paid a holding deposit of 100 Euros on a debit card. On checkout we settled the bill in full and told the holding deposit wiuld be redunded in the next 7 days. This never happened even after sending 5 emails, direct to the hotel and through this app! I had to get my card issuer involved to resolve this a month on. For this reason I cannot recommend...

Since I was traveling alone, I booked a single room. The room didn’t have a terrace, but there is a sea view from the window. It wasn’t very big, but it was very clean. The beautiful coastal walkway is right in front of the hotel, and the service was great. Thank you!

Fantastic hotel! 30 seconds to the beach and with an amazing team that greeted us from the second we walked into the building until we left. The hotel is incredibly clean from the terrace to our room even to the balcony it was spotless. We first stayed her some five or six years ago. It was lovely then and was this time as well. It’s been refreshed as well in terms of decor. Staff very polite and helpful, rooms clean and tidy. We had the breakfast which for 15 euro was excellent with a mix of table and self service and so much choice. And they do gluten free bread. We’d definitely go again.

I stayed here for one night on a cycling trip. It's a nice well maintained hotel on the sea front. The location is pretty much perfect and I would think a sea view room would be amazing. My room was cheaper and at the back but very comfortable and well maintained. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable. This is an ideal little hotel right in the tourist heart of Royan. My room facing the park and sea with terrace (smoking allowed there only) was perfect for my requirements. Traffic overnight was absent, never heard a sound from adjacent room, except the terrace. The air con was perfect, modern well equipped bathroom and firm mattress single bed with light duvet. I am convinced I met the loveliest most beautiful person in France who worked at this hotel. I was cycling, so she was very accommodating with me and my bike, and even suggested where I should cycle next. I went on her recommendation and loved it. A thousand thank yous to her. the room was clean, towels replaced every day, nice location facing the sea and the beach (just across the road), hot shower really appreciated at this period of the year, nice bedding. Stephane and Jerome are great host and always ready to help. The atmosphere is nice and simple at the same time. A nice hotel to stay and come back without hesitation. Good stuff

Great location. Wonderful, friendly staff who were very willing to help. We have some basic French but they also spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Rooms are clean and functional. Only slight negative: room got quite stuffy at night and aircon did not turn on. All and all a lovely stay. Would come here again.

This hotel was real discovery for me. Since I was need to stay for a night in Royan not all hotels in Royan can propose check in after 7 p.m. The Cit’Hotel Atlantis was that ideal opportunity for me. Rooms very clean and modern. The bath room was just amazing. I haven’t time to explore the breakfast, so I can’t say anything about that. The woman at reception was very polite. The owner of the hotel had obviously thought very hard about what their guests would need to make their stay more comfortable. The rooms had safes, coffee and tea, air conditioning and tv.

Visited numerous times since the last 10+ years (various owners / management over the years) June 2021 The best value for money (in the category) in the area got even better this year with fully refurbished rooms (wide beds 160cm, rain showers). Great location (walking distance from the beach and downtown which is great and extremely convenient in July / August when the area is a huge traffic jam...

Quirky, clean, great location and lovely staff.

Hotel is a great location right on the beach. The hotel itself has an old world charm to it and has more character than some modern chain hotels. Maybe a little dated in places, but clean and has everything you’d need or expect. Parking is an underground car park not suited to any slightly taller/larger cars and certainly not our van. Fabulous! Fabulous hotel with an excellent staff! Our room looked out onto the beach and was picture perfect! Comfortable bed, AC, fridge. Really excellent! Wish there were better restaurants in town. Try to reserve one of the four parking spots owned by the hotel.

Great stay Lovely hotel in front of the beach, very nice staff and on site parking. We stayed only one night so we chose the cheapest room which was quite small but clean.

Great views of the sea but hotel is now looking dated. Room very good with excellent shower. Be warned the underground parking is very tight especially if you are not on the first floor. Would stay again if I was v traveling through royal. Excellent restaurant recommendation from receptionist , opposite ****** 2 minutes away from hotel.

Very pleasant staff. Easy pin entry system after hours. Breakfast pleasant but no hot food at all. Double beds are 2 singles pushed together. They are rock solid, I got no sleep, sorry shoulders and back. Shower was old and discoloured. The toilet was fitted against the wall making it practically impossible to sit on, also discoloured. There is a lot of noise from heavy doors and disrespectful guests...

Receptionist needs to learn how to be welcoming Reception tried to take payment 2 days before we arrived. She said if i wasnt here today before 3pm, she would relet the room. It clearly said on my receipt, pay at hotel. When we arrived, no smile or welcome. Such a shame.

Hotel location is excellent, opposite the beach and in walking distance to restaurants, shops. Rooms are clean. The staff are friendly.

Maybe because it is an old family hotel, the room is small, there is no elevator, and you have to carry your luggage upstairs. In fact, the room is very clean, but because the floor is tiled, it is not as dry and warm as a chain hotel. The white grandfather seems to be not very friendly to Asians. Hotel right on beach front with wonderful sea views , a little noisy from the road as no air Conditioning and needed to open window but otherwise a very nice and friendly stay.

Warm welcome, comfortable room, perfectly clean, spacious and quiet. Our Labrador found his place there without any problem. Small downside, no heating in the toilets, it is a little chilly ... Breakfast at 13 €: sweet and savory. Hot drinks and fresh fruit juices. Special breads and pastries, jams, dried fruit, fruit salad, dairy products, boiled eggs, cheese and ham ... a lot of choice and at will...

Ideal beach location We had an exceptional 2 night stay in this hotel. Our room overlooked the sea which had coloured light in the evening. The view was just stunning. The hotel was clean and the added bonus was very friendly helpful staff.

The local owners are very sweet people, and they're very warm and hospitable: the view is gorgeous, beds comfortable and the bathroom and shower are absolutely gorgeous.

Rooms with sea view are wonderful. We love this area. We love the sandy beach with the sea close by, and the coastal walks.

First class location on the sea front. Well decorated rooms and public areas. Friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. A jacket was accidentally left in the wardrobe and it was immediately posted to us.

Nice place beachside, view to the ocean, calm at that time, friendly and experienced staff. The place is centrally located and offers many possibilities to explore the area. Very suitable for cycling along the coast.
