Big plus the people at the reception: always smiling and ready to help!
Check-in at the kiosk wasn't possible, and there was no staff in sight. It was far too hot, and the air conditioning didn't work. The pillows were too thick and hard, and the bed was rather uncomfortable. There was only one thin towel for each of us. Breakfast wasn't good. Even though we arrived relatively early, the croissants soon ran out, and the scrambled eggs were so disgusting that they were uneatable.
Greeted by two smiling and very professional women at reception. They gave us all the information we needed. The room was adequate, clean, with a comfortable mattress. Plenty of breakfast options, and the same staff as the day before, always smiling. Negative points: Apparently, it was a sports club with teenagers who spent the night in the hotel. We quickly realized that the doors weren't that soundproof when they moved from one room to another. Fortunately, everything was back to normal around 11:30 p.m. Another small negative point was the TV sound, which was too "muffled" in room 57, which forced us to watch programs with subtitles to avoid turning the volume up too loud and try to understand what was being said.
A hotel we would definitely return to if we return to Rennes.
