Great hotel in the heart of old Bayeux. No more than 5-10 minute walk to everything we did within Bayeux itself including restaurants, shops, and tapestry. We were also able to walk from the hotel to train station in 10-15 minutes. Our Operation Overlord guide was also able to pick us up right at the hotel too. Staff were very kind and hardworking. Excellent continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Bayeux.

My apologies in advance though I cannot recommend your hotel. We stayed in room number 12 which was one of four I booked for friends and ourselves. The shower is very small and appears to have been constructed from a closet. You cannot walk upright around the end of the bed as the slope of the roof prevents it. The bathroom sink is falling off the wall. The bathroom amenities are the least expensive you could purchase and this speaks volumes as to your approach in operating your hotel. The hangers are so worn out they do not hold clothing. You have neglected to replace the carpets and paint as you should. We dined in your restaurants on three occasions and had a wonderful experience both in food quality and service from your delightful staff. In summation you as an owner of this hotel have an obligation to maintain your hotel and represent the town of Bayeux. Please invest in your business.

We (wife, 20-year old grandson, me) had a large triple room with balcony for five days while we toured Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. Room was cleaned daily, well appointed, comfortable and the breakfast (extra charge) was what I wanted in a French meal - bread, cheese, meat, pastry, yogurt, boiled eggs and a wide selection of breakfast drinks. Loved the place! One additional feature: the hotel is 30' from where all the tours originate. You can see the gathering spot from the hotel restaurant. Rick Steves was right about this place. Excellent!

Great hotel in a great location. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom had modern fixtures and tile. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed one night at the hotel and were very pleased with the experience. An attractive hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. Great location. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Service was excellent, the restaurant was good. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.

The hotel is centrally located and convenient for all the restaurants and sights to visit. We stayed in one of the hotel's outbuildings - beautifully refurbished, well equipped and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were most friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of a high standard, and unusual for a French hotel in providing hot food - scrambled eggs, bacon and beans. All in all, an excellent hotel and we would certainly recommend it.

Motel was centrally located in the beautiful town of Bayeux. The room was very comfortable and reasonably priced ( compared to Paris). Barbara at the front desk was very helpful when we needed assistance with travel related questions. Having the restaurant next door was very convenient. I would definitely stay at this motel again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the Normandy area.

Great location, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the city center. The room was recently rennovated. Breakfast is available for 10.50. We called for a late check out and then got locked out of our room because the key was deactivated. We had to make two trips to the front desk to get it to work. Street and lot parking is available but is not a part of the hotel (they will give you a map and suggestions).

We chose this village and hotel due to a Normandy tour we were taking. We are beyond happy to have stumbled onto this gem of a hotel! Located right in old city centre within a 5 minute walk to the cathedral, this hotel offered the quaint charm of medieval buildings with updated amenities for convenience. By far our favorite hotel during our whole France visit! The back window of our room opened directly over the village canal and added wonderful atmosphere. Add to that the convenience of a 1 minute walk to the tour pick up, a wonderful restaurant and AMAZING staff and we were hooked! We wanted for nothing during our stay and felt right at home!
