Great hotel for the price off season. Clean and basic. Be mindful that their is no lift, and in my opinion, it is not polite to insist to an older woman to carry baggage. I would skip the breakfast as the eggs were cold and ran out in the first 20 minutes that breakfast was open. No one was around to help with breakfast service. Junior Suite was superb. Clara and Julienne at the reception desk were thoughtful and kind. The bar and fireplace with hot chocolate at the end of the day was special. Bayeux at Christmas time is adorable.

We appreciated coffee in our room. We didn’t do the breakfast because it was just going to be too much food for us. We did order some food in the bar and I would say that could be upgraded. Just bringing us an entrée that was in a jar and warmed up was not very good. Maybe add some soups to the menu.

The hotel was lovely, breakfast was good, but the staff are really what put it over the top. My Mom's luggage was not on the plane and they called Air France for her and worked to get it delivered to us. I could not recommend the property more highly.

The staff were so friendly. We didn’t catch the name of the blonde woman on reception but she was so lovely and really helpful and also makes a great cocktail! We absolutely loved our stay, we had a jacuzzi in our room which was well worth the extra £12

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room was clean. We stayed in a comfort double that was small a little inconvenient. Side table too small to set a book or personal items and very little storage space. Staff did bring us a second suitcase stand when we requested it and it was very appreciated.

Dont like the coffee machine its not good coffee . Its best when coffee made properly

The chateau is beautiful and the grounds are very well kept. The lady that checked us in was superb! Sadly I can’t recall her name. The large bathtub was great and the spacious room was very comfortable. We weren’t there long enough to try the spa service. But I would love to go back here and stay a couple nights. The restaurant looked really nice as well. Would love to try it someday.

Nice place to stay. Clean & peaceful. We were very well surprised wirh the quality and tasteful diner. Breakfast wasn’t so fabulous. Eg, egg cooker and some material was stuck. We were expecting more local specialities.

We just stayed here for one night, and I wish we could have extended our stay. We are traveling with our six children, and the family suite was perfect for us. Spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Be aware this is a historic hotel. The rooms can be quite small depending upon your assigned room please alert the hotel when you book if you have disabilities or need a walk-in shower there are a few available. Our stay at the family owned Churchill Hotel was awesome. Our room was very spacious with all the amenities that you would expect from a first class hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Staff assisted with great dinner reservations. If we return to Bayeux, we would stay again.

The hotel was just on the edge of Bayeux old town, a short taxi ride from the center of town. The staff was very courteous and assisted with transportation needs. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located on Bayeux ring road for trips to the Normandy beaches, museums and memorials. Restaurant at hotel for evening meal and good breakfast selection.

Breakfast Items that should have been hot were luke warm or cold. There was a big selection. Water for tea was low and cold.

Not bad if you don't mind spending the night in a soulless pod. Staff's polite and friendly but they do make Days Inn US feel like Mayberry.

Small but adequate and quiet rooms, also kept quite clean. Nothing interesting in the immediate vacinity but priced quite reasonably. We did not pay for the breakfast though I did cashed a few coffees from their machine after being given permission to so so, which helped my impression immeasurably. I would stay here again, but might prefer to hunt for something closer to the center of town.

Liked this hotel a lot for it's location and service. They lose 2 stars for some paint pealing in the bathroom but regain 1 BIG star for having an air conditioner in the room with full working controls which seems to be unusual in the area. A great little hotel, convenient to the train station and the towns sites. Breakfast is very good with tons of pastry choices along with correctly done scrambled eggs. Wonderful BNB This is an extremely lovely bed and breakfast. We had the room with the courtyard view. It was a suite size! Unusual for Europe. The hostess is so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect—a great spot to see the D-Day beaches and take trips to Mount Saint Michel, Saint-Malo, and Falaise. Good budget hotel with very helpful staff.

Basic hotel. The location is good, close to the center by walk or car. The room is small and the bathroom is like a camper. I don’t like that you have to pay for the amenities. The breakfast is ok, according to the price. You can bring you dog with you and enjoy the breakfast in the terrace. Also there is a check-in machine in the parking to do it if you come late.

Everything is okay for a budget hotel. I have tried this hotel chain before. However, this time it's different because there is a self check in for this branch. I also lost one one of my vanity items. Good thing my other items were not lost. The reception staff were friendly and approachable. A great place to stay. Well laid out studio, extremely clean, with little communal garden area. This is a perfect place to stay in Bayeux! It’s a beautiful property, with very clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The staff made us feel like family.
