Great hotel for the price off season. Clean and basic. Be mindful that their is no lift, and in my opinion, it is not polite to insist to an older woman to carry baggage. I would skip the breakfast as the eggs were cold and ran out in the first 20 minutes that breakfast was open. No one was around to help with breakfast service. There are better places to have breakfast if you can wait until 8 am. The bar and lounge are lovely. However, of my 4 days, only one of the days was there anyone to serve the lounge, and I felt like a burden for even asking for a drink. The dinner was ok but limited and very pricey. However, off season without a car, you're limited for food options around.

Junior Suite was superb. Clara and Julienne at the reception desk were thoughtful and kind. The bar and fireplace with hot chocolate at the end of the day was special. Bayeux at Christmas time is adorable.

This hotel was much better than I expected. I was in town for a special event, the funeral of Charles Norman Shay, so I thought occupancy and rates would be very high. The price of the room was so low I thought the property would be kind of old and clapped out, but it’s actually very nice and recently renovated, and I stayed a second night.
I didn’t use the restaurant, but from the menu and the décor it looks like an excellent choice for a high-end dinner. The bar is very cozy, with comfy leather chairs and pictures of celebrities on the walls. The staff was very pleasant too.
You should probably reserve on-site parking if you need it. There is free 20 minute parking on the street outside with an automatic timer.

The room was really nice, very clean. The location and setting of the hotel is perfect. The staff were top notch and as others have mentioned the breakfast was great. I’ve already been recommending this hotel to friends back home who might come here. A great stay.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, about 10 mins walk from the train station and walking distance to a lot of restaurants.
The staffs were all so friendly and helpful! There’s a day I was back to hotel from Mont Saint Michel and it was late and all the restaurants were closed. I was hungry and cold and ask for foods from hotel, though kitchen was closed they still managed to whip up with ham ,cheese and baguettes. It makes me feel like home!
Also, do try the dinner at the restaurant it was good!

Breakfast and dinner were terrific. We especially enjoyed the lounge/bar are…nice charcuterie board and friendly service. The location in town is ideal.

I ordered the duck which was worth it. More filling than I expected and pretty tasty served with fries. WiFi and cell reception was not available where we sat. Near the window would probably be an optimal place to sit if you want cell service.

Good food, good price, good service! Hard to get wifi if you are sitting in the front room. Would definitely return.

Excellent menu for 19 euros, fairly small but tasty dishes. Serve a great cider and calvados from a nearby organic farm. Cosy place. Friendly staff

1. They said okay, no mushroom sauce on my duck. Then bought it out fully with sauce. I'm highly allergic, not fussy... Told them to take it back
2. My son's steak was medium quality cut, no salt/pepper on it, nothing.
He finished his steak and i said we'd like to pay. I acknowledget that i will go without dinner. They said no and rushed (in 5-8 mins) out my overcooked, unedibly dry and no seasoning duck with half raw french fries. I said i don't want it by now and we want to go. Had to wait another 15! mins for the bill. And after another 16 minutes i walked over to the bar to pay as noone came over, even though they had time! Service is horrible and i'm infuriated that i had to pay for the duck and still had no dinner! Clearly their mistake, they should have just sucked it up....

Good pizza with local style. Fast, friendly service. Menu is in multiple languages, so if your translating skills are weak, there's no guessing. Every country makes pizza a bit different, and we enjoyed trying one from here.
