Good value, clean and tidy, friendly hosts.
Lovely Hotel with clean and comfortable rooms!
Great night's sleep in a clean and charming room. The host spoke English well and was relaxed and friendly. Also a wealth of local and historical information. Breakfast with lots of coffee was wonderful. Bayeux is a nice town.
The hotel was close to food and bakery. We had the top room which was recently refurbished and it held 4 guests. The gentlemen was very friendly and helped us book restaurants (la pompier or something) we used bayeux as a base to see normandy. Very good value and 2 stars. The surrounding neighbourhood was quiet.
Clean and tidy. Very helpful owner. Situated very close to town, the Cathedral, Bayeux Tapestry, D Day museum and CW Graves all within easy walking distance.

We got in late to Bayeux and needed some food and a beer, La Boucherie was there for Charlotte Rocha and I. We choose 2 appetizers and creme brulee to share. It was perfect!

Brilliant food! Very family friendly, a table with a high chair was ready when we arrived. Friendly staff. My only issue is that we weren't asked if we wanted dessert and we waited so long that we decided to go to the bar to pay the bill.

Disappointed! This is a family friendly fast food equivalent for steaks. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and they do speak good English (not that that should be a requirement in France), plus the chips were excellent. On the negative side, the steaks were extremely undercooked, which is a shame given that they have a guide. Our 'a point' steaks, described as 'pink inside' were rare at best. Given that one was a Fillet and one was an Entrecote seems more like house style (in keeping with other reviewers) than a simple mistake. Ours went back to the kitchen to be re-cooked, the fillet being butterflied. Had the steaks been good, it may have mitigated things, but they were both chewy and lacking flavour. Both were cooked too much and too hot outside, without the required attention to get the temperature correct inside. It wasn't even particularly cheap. Would not recommend.

Never eaten a better dessert before, the Pavlova is amazing. As a main we hd the duck and that was also super good. Staff is friendly and speaks perfect English. Must go!
