A shabby room, more than 100€ per night for mold in every corner of the room, dated decoration, peeling wallpaper and so on. We didn't feel comfortable there at all. I had to, with my boyfriend, go see the manager to change rooms after a long negotiation. And of course to top it off, no insulation.
While in Amiens for business, I stayed at this small hotel in Amiens. Immediately upon entering, I was welcomed by the staff at the front desk. All the details of the hotel were made very clear. My room was clean and quiet. It wasn't by any means extravagant, but that's not at all what I was looking for. I didn't have the time to eat breakfast in the morning, but there was a very nice dining room area where other guests were enjoying what looked like a very nice breakfast.
The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the major commercial center of the city as well as the cathedral. With light bags and nice weather, I easily walked to the Gare d'Amiens to catch my train.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for the traveller on a budget, as well as families looking for accommodations.

Stayed here for 1 night on the way to Calais. Friendly hotel, great for city centre (great Cathedral and restaurants but the river) and reasonably priced. Rooms basic but v comfortable, everything you need. We were given a map and useful information on where to go and what was on. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
