Third time I have stayed there, but I won't be back.

It has always been budget, but there is no excuse for (really) dirty rooms - floor was sticky, bed sheets and duvet cover either not washed , or need a much better wash than they had been given.

Good things - free off street parking and great location for the centre of town

A dreadful experience. The hotel and the grounds are overgrown with weeds and ill-maintained bushes. The room we got smelled heavily of sigaretts. It might be explained by the ashtrays attached to each room’s wall (there might be some fire hazard-issues there…) the room was mouldy, the bed was poorly made up. The Area of Roubaix has its social challenges, and safety should be paramount, but anyone could easily walk in and out. The reception area and restaurant (at least that is what we thought it was) was as inhospitiabel as can be. We cut our stay short and left after the first night even though we had booked three nights. We were hoping for a refund, but that was (as suspected) not given. We strongly warn anyone from booking here.

How lucky to find all this in one room. Allergy sufferers or not, please don't book here.
Sheets were covered in dirt, the only clean towels, and the toilet paper was empty.

If you're driving, it's a good choice. Parking is free and the location is not difficult to find. Breakfast is cheap, but the food and drinks are good. The room size is acceptable and can open two suitcases.

Affordable choice, the room is not big but it is enough, very clean. The parking lot should be sufficient. After 10 o'clock, you need to use a code to enter and exit, but the code was given incorrectly. Fortunately, there were cars entering behind me.

Price should come into consideration here. The hotel itself was not something I would go back to. But, plus points are:
It is in the center of the town. Private parking at only 3.00 Euro is a steal, as you need it.

First thing the staff are very welcoming and polite .

Secondly ,the place needs updating, The service, if you arrive early, they won't give your room, although it's empty.

And if you wanted it early, you have to tell them in advance and charge you extra.

That's not a way to build up your business.

The room itself, the sink was leaking underneath the floor, was flooded.

The bed, ooh lala,it was comfy, but please check your pillow as they are dirty and smelly.

When booking a hotel I expect there’s a seat on the toilet. Otherwise I could sleep in the woods. This was not the case here so it was SO disgusting to go to the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable as well as you are sleeping on top of the spring mattress with no soft top mattress on top. I slept here for one nigth and is never going back.

It was a good stay, good location, and friendly staff.
Cleaning could have been a bit better.
Furthermore, the price was good for what you get.

I stayed for one week, the staff was welcoming and very nice except one guy. I forgot few of my very good books at the hotel and reached airport, I called back just to tell them that "I have forgotten few of my books, could you please give those books in charity or to some library" The other guy replied to me saying "that's none of his business, come back tomorrow and collect. You have to take care of it we will not be doing anything for you". It was such a super rude reply I didn't expect from a hotel staff. Giving minus one just for this guy. I don't know what's his name though. Else rest everything is good.
