Ideal hotel for overnight stay

Staff made the stay. Room was falling apart and not clean. The restaurant only provide microwave meals now as no chef but staff there made us feel welcome and were so kind it made up for it.

Checked out after arriving. I knew the room was basic but it was old and in a poor state and there wasn’t a toilet seat. The photos on the site don’t reflect the condition of the rooms.

The room was basic but the beds were comfortable, there was onsite parking and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff member on duty was very helpful. The hotel is only a few minutes from the ferry terminal so it was ideal for an early morning start

Very pleased with the service, the staff there is kind and helpful, the room is clean and they have AC, out of my expectation! Quite near to the ferry, good for cyclists

By mistake I made a booking for a day before I wanted to stay. Tried to cancel immediately and contacted the hotel. No reply. Although they are serving mostly people going to England the staff speaks extremely limited English and is not helpful at all. Once we stayed there, they refused to serve beer, claiming "no chef no beer" shame

Very simple and run-down accommodation, but it's fine for one night (before boarding the ferry).

Long past its sell by date. Needs a total refurbishment. Could not recommend anyone stay there. We will never use again.
