Reviews
On the plus side, the location is close to the sea and the bedding is adequate.
The room is small and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom is very small. Breakfast is decent for the price of €11.
The hotel offers decent service, it's clean, and the room has a good, comfortable bed. It's good value for money; no frills, but the essentials are there (cleanliness and friendly staff). We had a triple room with a view of the back of the building (towards the street), not amazing, but the point isn't to spend your stay staring at a window. The small restaurant is nice, with a pretty terrace overlooking the sea (which is very close), and a small but simple menu. One small drawback: the mussels weren't cooked very well, despite an excellent Maroilles cheese sauce. Breakfast is adequate; there's something for everyone. Be careful if you've paid online; mention it right away, as the receptionist tried to charge me for a stay that had already been paid for. The owners are helpful and kind. The restaurant staff are too. In short: a small, unassuming hotel that's worth stopping at for a night or two at a reasonable price, with perfect proximity to the beach and a small free parking lot at the back.
