Where to stay in Omalo

The hotel is reasonably priced and the environment is good too. Location is great. In restaurant you will be test great Georgian culinary. The room is comfortable and the staff is friendly. Its easy to access and is not far from the sights in the city. Its a comfortable stay and I recommend people to come here.

Hotel staff is so nice and helpful that you want to stay longer. Beutiful interior and magical localization in Omalo. View from the hotel room is simply breathtaking. Make sure that you have off-road 4x4 car to get there. Highly recommended!

We only went there to eat but the restaurant is very good. Food was delicious and we were happy to find some European cuisine which was surprisingly tasty. The dining room is very fancy and the staff is friendly and helpful

This hotel is outstanding. Especially given it's remote location. I was surprised to find myself in a such a nice hotel when we got there. Staff is very welcoming and cares a lot about the needs of their guests. The rooms are spacious, sparkling clean and comfortable. In fact one of the most comfortable beds I've experienced in a hotel for a while. The restaurant area is huge and highly recommended...

We were rescued from the road by the host of this hotel. Our car had two flat tires, sidewalls cut out from the sharp rocks, and could not move, even though we came within 5 km of the hotel. We made arrangements to stay one night as the accommodations were less than comfortable. The bed, mattress and sheets new and very comfortable. The room and whole hotel clean and well decorated. Rooms and amenities were as good as possible within the relevant price range and considering availability of resources locally. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming, the food was tasty and ample, and ambience was pleasant. Maybe we could not see the old fortress on the hilltop, but fantastic view from the window every morning, absence of noise (if you do not count an occasional group of horses...

Best place in Omalo and best food. We had a good look around and this place did not disappoint. We stayed 4 nights and everyday the food was different excellent. Rooms are clean and shower is hot. Family are very nice people and do everything to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Great views from the balcony area upstairs.

Nice family who runs this and keeps it extremely clean. We spent two nights and had 1 dinner and two breakfasts. Food is basic but delicious. She offered a breakfast/dinner plus room option for 90 GEL per person, which was a good price instead of paying for those meals separately. Only complaint was wifi password posted was 'incorrect.' We didn't tell family as there was only the older daughter...

We did not stay here since we were passing through Omalo, however we had stopped for one of the best lunches we had on our trip in Georgia. The food was AMAZING. They certainly had the best stuffed eggplant we found in Georgia. The produce (tomatoes in particular) was divine. The seating area was very cute as well, shaded and outdoors. Would recommend if spending time in Omalo or passing through.

Very old style authentic guest house hotel in Tusheti.

there is some kind of a lounge/dining-room with nice atmosphere, where you can order plates from a menu. The food was great. The sitting is not that comfortable, you cannot realy chill in this place.

Guest house Samtsikhe is one of the best hotels in Dartlo. Location is super amazing, food is very tasty, people and hosts are much friendly. It's located near the river and you can have your breakfast and listen and watch it. Hosts can help you give tips for your hiking plans in Tusheti. Also can help you origanize different activities.

Excellent place to stay in Dartlo. Loved the huge amounts of tasty food and very friendly hosts. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean and the location is beautiful right on the river. Beautiful traditional guest house on a gorgeous location. The facilities are pretty basic but suitable for where you are (decent beds (maybe a bit stiff for some) hot water showers and working toilet. Even during hot summer days the rooms stay cool because of the traditional stone built structures. The staff are most friendly and the owner has good connections for transfer from Tbilisi or Telavi for...

Family picked up us in Avali and they provide the transfer through Abbano Pass as well as accomodation, breakfast and dinner. We could feel like living with them! Amazing family and amazing stay :-)

Great place to stay. The people that run the Homestay are lovely and do a great home cooked meal. Will definitely stay again when I’m in the region.

Nice clean rooms, some offering a view and equipped with private bathroom. Great veranda to chill outside. Food is good. Very nice and welcoming owner, you can book horse rides or transfer to Kakheti from them. Would recommend to stay while in this beautiful remote area.

Friendly owner and the daughter speaks pretty good english. Rooms and bathroom are clean and they have a nice balcony to sit outside. We got to pay more than booking.com said and compared to other guesthouses with similar standard it seemed a bit too much.

Great family atmosphere, excellent food, beautiful views of the area. We have been there twice and always felt at home. The host Paata can take you to the most beautiful places in Tusheti: Gometsari Gorge, Dartlo, Girevi, Diklo, etc. Highly recommended!
