Tusheti is remote and beautiful—and that means real logistics: tough roads, shifting weather, and limited supplies. In this context, Samzeo deserves credit: clean rooms, hot showers, a tasty breakfast, and a genuinely caring team. Internet or power can be spotty at times—this is simply the region’s reality. Travel with a flexible plan and you’ll see how well this place operates despite the challenges. I left very satisfied and would gladly return.

The hotel is reasonably priced and the environment is good too. Location is great. In restaurant you will be test great Georgian culinary. The room is comfortable and the staff is friendly. Its easy to access and is not far from the sights in the city. Its a comfortable stay and I recommend people to come here.

We couldn't go there!
It was the most ridiculous hotel-experience I ever had! The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, but is impossible to reach. NO taxi will take you there, as it's located remotely in the mountains of Otavalo. From the city Tevali to the hotel there is 98 km, but from there, the hotel is only accessible with a jeep and a special trained driver that will drive you 5 hours through the mountains. Not only is it almost impossible to find a jeep, many local drivers warned us against the road. If it rains, guest have to be flewn back by helicopter. Stranded in Telavi, we made other plans, found another hotel and never went. A farce!

Hotel staff is so nice and helpful that you want to stay longer. Beutiful interior and magical localization in Omalo. View from the hotel room is simply breathtaking. Make sure that you have off-road 4x4 car to get there. Highly recommended!

Restaurant was the only thing we liked. Our room was cold, amenities lacking, and didn’t have good WiFi reception. Very overpriced. Not to mention the property itself is built on land that is sacred to locals, which we didn’t know when we booked it. Wish we would’ve stayed in a guesthouse instead.

We only went there to eat but the restaurant is very good. Food was delicious and we were happy to find some European cuisine which was surprisingly tasty. The dining room is very fancy and the staff is friendly and helpful

This hotel is outstanding. Especially given it's remote location. I was surprised to find myself in a such a nice hotel when we got there. Staff is very welcoming and cares a lot about the needs of their guests. The rooms are spacious, sparkling clean and comfortable. In fact one of the most comfortable beds I've experienced in a hotel for a while. The restaurant area is huge and highly recommended. They serve a variety of mostly Georgian dishes all of which are very well prepared. The same is true for international dishes. The kitchen staff knows hos to prepare and present food in a stunning way that leaves even many of the "fancy" places in Tbilisi far behind. Staff is very helpful in explaining dishes and drinks if needed. The only downside I felt was the long walk between the room and the lobby/restaurant area. That of course depends on where you're located and how frequently you move. But maybe just make sure not to forget your sunglasses or something. Otherwise I had a good time staying here and will come again. 5 well earned stars.
