We stayed here for 3 nights, we really enjoyed the atmosphere, very friendly staff, the food was excellent (I like the chicken soup and roasted chicken with garlic sauce so much). We arrived at the beginning of June, the hotel had just opened, the temperatures are still low at night.
We highly recommend the driver George for transfers between Tbilisi and Omalo.

It was a wonderfull hotel!
Breakfast and also dinner at the restaurant when very good!
Max did a great job helping us with booking our activities in Omalo and was super kind to us!

Tusheti is remote and beautiful—and that means real logistics: tough roads, shifting weather, and limited supplies. In this context, Samzeo deserves credit: clean rooms, hot showers, a tasty breakfast, and a genuinely caring team. Internet or power can be spotty at times—this is simply the region’s reality. Travel with a flexible plan and you’ll see how well this place operates despite the challenges. I left very satisfied and would gladly return.

FIRST HOTEL IN MY LIFE where I pay 150$ approx. Per night and I don't get the following:
Free drinking water ( 2$ for small bottle)
No internet
No AC ( very hot days) no simple fan, u need to open your balcony door while it is not seperated from other rooms, plus their grill is directly under the balcony, so imagine the smell
No phone for reception
Only two lamps in the room
And by the way, sure the nature is amazing, but the location is far from the center of the village and there is no cellular coverage
Whatever you ask the staff they tell you first answer NO
The room is very simple without any furniture, no place to put your phone/ charger / wallet.
Check other and better options in this area

Had a great three night stay here. The team are friendly and attentive. Rooms are comfortable and have excellent hot water; not something to be taken for granted in locations like this. The restaurant was great and had a very good menu including some Tushetian dishes and a full wine menu. Enjoying a glass of wine or a Tushetian tea in front of a roaring fire each night was a highlight. From the table settings in the restaurant to the carpets un the lobby and selections of soaps in the rooms, Samzeo has been carefully designed to provide a unique and comfortable stay in a remote but spectacular location. Big thanks to the managers and staff for such an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is reasonably priced and the environment is good too. Location is great. In restaurant you will be test great Georgian culinary. The room is comfortable and the staff is friendly. Its easy to access and is not far from the sights in the city. Its a comfortable stay and I recommend people to come here.

We couldn't go there!
It was the most ridiculous hotel-experience I ever had! The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, but is impossible to reach. NO taxi will take you there, as it's located remotely in the mountains of Otavalo. From the city Tevali to the hotel there is 98 km, but from there, the hotel is only accessible with a jeep and a special trained driver that will drive you 5 hours through the mountains. Not only is it almost impossible to find a jeep, many local drivers warned us against the road. If it rains, guest have to be flewn back by helicopter. Stranded in Telavi, we made other plans, found another hotel and never went. A farce!

Hotel staff is so nice and helpful that you want to stay longer. Beutiful interior and magical localization in Omalo. View from the hotel room is simply breathtaking. Make sure that you have off-road 4x4 car to get there. Highly recommended!
