SEA Site room 217 with our dog was perfect. Renovated bathroom, much better than 217 landsiteroom . Nice friendly service. Great sauna.

Excellent service, very good food, quiet, picturesque area. A guest terrace overlooking the lake adds charm.

nicely located hotel, too bad the pool (high season!?) didn't work. Air conditioning in the rooms would be handy, it was very warm on the sunny side.

Cold shower!
There was only cold water in the bathroom (including the shower) both days we were there. That's too bad! Otherwise we were very happy.

Place is clean. Well located next to lake and part of a small, cozy village. Rooms and decour is not updated and a bir worn out. Spa area is average. One of the saunas did not work. Tried a hot stone massage, which was nice. Breakfast is slightly boring selection. No pastry or pancakes. Friendly staff. We came as a family of four with two teenagers. We saw no other guest aged below 50 years of age.

This is NOT a 4-star hotel! Completely overpriced. We paid Euro 160 a night over a summer weekend. This is inappropriate as the standard hovers around a Euro 80/night price. The rooms are of a subpar standard, as though they had not been renovated in twenty years. The carpets are older and dingy and the rooms are stuff and have an older smell. There is zero air circulation, even with the balcony door open and it gets extremely hot in the room, even in 60 degree weather. The elevator is ancient, and the decorations in the hotel look like a 4th grader worked on them.
The staff, however, was SUPER nice and work extra hard to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome.
The views are lovely and the location is great. The hotel needs a complete makeover though, otherwise who is paying these prices when airbnb and holiday rentals join the competition?

At the outside of the Seehotel Fährhaus is a big Sea in Bad Zwischenahn in the near.
