The location is perfect, the wellness is very good, they just miss a warm water pool, they have a normal one which is also very nice!

What a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend. Staff were friendly and helpful. We are a family of five and the apartment style room was perfect. Spacious and very clean. The hotel is in the pedestrian zone and ideal for walking , shopping & eating.

The accommodations were nice. Hallways to rooms smelled smoky due to people smoking just outside open exit doors.

We had a good stay because the hotel has provided us with a nice room, well equipped, good bedding. Great pool and sauna layout. Excellent breakfast buffet and we love the quicky but nice design elements in the hotel. Staff are tops and accommodating.

We had a nice stay before our Switzerland trip. Receptionist was very welcoming. There are enough parking space in front of the hotel including charging station. Room was perfectly silent. To summarize, it was a good experience

Holiday Inn Expresses aren't usually anything special, but this hotel was. It was simple, but very, very clean. The beds were really comfortable, and the staff were all very polite and friendly. It was a very restful night there after the trade fair.

The hotel charges me 10 euros for parking and 3,5 euros for city tax. It’s not specified in the introduction. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel to stay for a night.

First class service by the friendly staff and excellent facilities

The hotel and the wellness area are nothing special. In fact, from the photos on the booking the expectation was that the room was in the modern part of the hotel, but unfortunately this was not the case. The staff wasn’t overly friendly and helpful either. The room had several damages but was quiet which was appreciated. There is an outside bike stand with metal hooks for locking.

This is a hotel which clearly holds itself to a very high standard, but which fell flat is some basic ways. The booking covered multiple rooms in the Hofhaus and Stammhaus, so we saw more of the hotel than most. Hotel Maier was fit for a one-night stopover. The place looks great; the team is wonderfully personable and proactive. Then you reach the rooms. The curtains were too small for the window...

Room was extremely dated. Glad there was air conditioning. Walls were very thin, could hear the TV from another room at 5am. You had to book the steam room in advance. This wasn't conveyed to us so when my partner went to the steam room, it was off. Mr. Leobilla who was our waiter was great. The female waitress was good too. Receptionists were friendly as well.

The rooms are nice and spacious. My only complain is that breakfast is mediocre at best, but not bad by any means.

Hotel Maier offers a great location near Lake Constance, clean and comfortable rooms, and panoramic views. The staff is cooperative and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing visit!

Basically, it may have been a good hotel in the past, but the overall management and cleanliness need to be improved. In addition, the parking fee is really too high. 25.4 euros is really a bit exaggerated.

Great week at Lake Constance Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly.

This Hotel is well maintained. Clean and spacious. Room decor looks good, the Wellness Area excellent and very clean. We arrived in the underground Parking which was very convenient. Check-in was quick and friendly. All information was given. The best surprise was the breakfast like in the best 5-star hotels . Well done.

Very nice, quiet, clean and modern hotel, with free parking, large selection choice for breakfast and bar/restaurant on site which is reasonably priced with good quality food. The rooms are spacious and come with a fridge, minibar selection, heating control and A/C. The only thing that is not in the room is a kettle. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Traube am See I had a great stay at this hotel. The room is clean, great location and an amazing restaurant and lounge. I would stay there again.

Excellent location. It's a few steps away from the pier. All kinds of restaurants and shops around you. A big supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Good clean room with enough space. Good breakfast. It was a pleasant 11 day business stay.

Stayed here for a work trip. Room was reasonably priced and comfortable enough. Bathroom was quite dated and cramped, but good service from the staff and decent breakfast served.

Located a 5-minute drive from the bustling port area, the weekend flea market is quite unique, with several stalls offering decent vinyl records.

It was one day business trip but was nice. Self check in process looks easy and smooth. There were two guys supporting with difficulties so easy going. The manager of the hotel is really nice guy and helping straightaway if he needs to, even open for a a small talk. Housekeeping are young team and doing great job. Breakfast is good enough and everything is fresh and tasty.

Well located for the city center, easy to access by free bus. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel.

Location very good for Zeppelin museum and lake promenade. Underground parking even if limited and expensive at 18 Euros. Great breakfast with plenty of seating.

Nice and comfortable stay - perfect for a business or personal trip. Directly at the lake and across the train stations. Many restaurants nearby. The sauna and roof top was a nice surprise!

We enjoyed this hotel, which has easy access to Friedrichshafen, and isn’t far from Wangen i.Allgäu. Our room was nice, clean and warm, the bed was comfy, breakfast and dinner were good. There were lots of free parking on the site.

Fantastic very comfort acommodation located just few minutes away of downtown of Friedrichshafen. Peaceful sleep is guaranteed on very comfort beds. I love the lounge area at reception and there is also breakfast served (17€ per person) but we didn't take it. I miss in room some coffee and tea, that's what we are used to get in acommodations like this, bit never matter I am giving clear 5/5.

Big room, clean and new. The location is somewhat remote but not desolate, very quiet. About 1 km to Rewe and you can drive to kaufland. The only problem Kettles, coffee, tea, and drinking cups are not provided.

Nice quiet room in the centre of Friedrichshafen. Close to Restaurants and Cafes, the Lake, and a short walk to and from the Train station.

Very convenient location. Nearby are shops and cafes, and most importantly, close to the boats. The room was cold and there was no hot water pressure. There was no kettle or cups. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was the same as everywhere else, nothing special.

The hotel's location is great, right on the lake, and it's a maximum 15-minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was modest and a bit repetitive, but it had everything necessary. Unbeatable for the price, have nothing to complain about

After a very stressful few days in another hotel, we have found ourselves at the Friedrichshafen Ibis. We managed to check in early, and relax before our flight. There room is basic but clean, the staff are friendly and watching the planes and Zeppelins through the window is actually rather cool.

Convenient location – everything is within walking distance, including the train station and the airport entrance. Reception and check-in were quick and efficient. The room has everything you need. Clean and tidy. Breakfast – you definitely won't go hungry 😉 - I recommend the hotel 👍

Great hotel with modern rooms with balcony and on 2 levels. Very nice and polite staff in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice and if something was missing it was immediately refilled. We had dinner there 3 times and it was really tasty, I can recommend the pepper steak and fried potatoes.

Great pub and hotel. Food nice, do have a smoking area, I am not a smoker. But was OK for me. Nice atmosphere, the bar lady, waitress so efficient, was the most experienced I've come across in a very long time. Great job.

Conditions at hotel are ok but check in process is a nightmare. No front desk. We have to use entry panel. We have follwed to the instruction but can't walk inside. Have to call to very unpleased lady and after phone, somehow, key felt down from drawer. After 30min process with nerves we walked in to room.

Good place to stay. Rooms are nice, good size bathroom. Checking in after reception closes is super easy with the machine just in the first doors. Downsides are the noise outside all the time with people in adjacent buildings, no restaurant or bar for the evening and the Wifi is incredibly slow, at times nonexistent. Doesn't helpnthe building seems to block phone signal too so you end up in the room...

Everything was well including the breakfast. Weekend was perfect price , 100 Euro one room for a family of 4 but the pruce was doubling on weekdays during easter school holiday.

A cosy hotel, not far away from shopping or the exhibition grounds. We had a family accommodation, which consisted of two separate rooms, perfect for families. It's in a quiet area, the staff is very friendly and fulfils wishes when possible. We really enjoyed it! Thank you. Just one suggestion. It would be cool if you had a safe in each room.

Not quite as close to the town as we expected, but we had a great time.

Self check in was easy, if a little time consuming. The rooms are large and comfortable and quiet. There is a coffee machine in the lounge. We never met any staff - they weren't there in the morning, and no sign of a breakfast option. It was a convenient stopover hotel.

Lodged here for a short time as it was fair priced and not too far away from the places I had in mind. Check in is really 24 hours ( key box ). Interior ( carpets for instance ) could be better but considering the price it was okay. On-site parking is additional 5 EUR and off-site parking spaces are rare. The actual location which can be noisy. Staff was friendly.

I give this hotel a three star review, the pros: Room was big and clean Cheap Quick check in Cons: The whole hotel smelt of smoken, the walls are very thin, and the front desk man was very sarcastic and a bit rude.

Quiet and small hotel. No elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up to the 3rd floor. Rooms are small and oddly decorated, but I thought the bed was comfortable and I had a sliver of alp view. Check-in procedure involves an online document to fill out and calling a German phone number, could be smoother (via text perhaps?)

We'll be back in the summer. Easy to find, just a short walk from the lake. Check-in was via phone with an access code, but the staff were very friendly. No elevator.

Easy staying. No reseption, but after a little fiddling with the machine in the check-in, we got our keys.

Nice enough, and very handy Room was clean and functional; hotel very close to railway station, easily walked with suitcase. Automated check-in was easy on a machine in entrance (entrance is a side door to left of hotel front) - you need a passport number for checkin, but be warned no actual human at hotel reception. A little noisy initially from other guests, although I was in bed early - was quiet...
